6. Electromagnetic lockup device for tube rotation (Tube Arm)

1. Stand

5. X-ray tube 2. Vertical move device 4. Handle Bar

3. Stand base

3. Functions of main components (1) Stand: Device helps the X-ray tube travelling up & down (2) Vertical move device: holding X-ray tube and to be connected to Tube Stand to support up & down travel. (3) Stand base: holding Tube Stand and to be connected to Floor rail for longitudinal travel. (4) Handle Bar: The device has a Angle display panel, emergency PWR-off button, electromagnetic lockup buttons and user holding handles for X-ray tube position control. (5) X-ray tube device: where it has X-ray tube, Handle Bar and collimator assembled. (6) Tube Arm: Helping X-ray tube rotation from Handle Bar. (7) Electromagnetic lockup device for vertical travel: Helping X-ray tube up/down travel from Handle Bar. 2.5.2 Unpacking 1. For easy installation, Mobile X-ray system almost assembled. And after unpacking, engineer just connects X-ray tube, Handle, Collimator. 2. Check if all the devices are well condition after unpacked. 3. In case any of the devices are broken or missed, please contact your local agent or manufacturer quickly. 4. They are packed as a set of Stand, a set of Handle Bar, a set of balance weight. 5. Do not scrap the packing boxes, envelops or inside papers before you make sure all about the contents. 6. Sometime, Tube Stand separated with Mobile cart by buyer’s asking.

2.5.3 Installation procedure of Tube Stand (Actually Tube Stand already installed with Mobile Cart!) 1. Check if the serial No. on the label is match with the serial No. on the quality certificate. 2. During the unpacking, check if all the devices are in well condition, especially at cables. In case any broken or damaged parts, please contact your local agent for replacements. 3. Bring the devices to the installation place. (Do not assemble the devices in advanced) 2 or more people are needed to move them because the devices are very heavy. 4. Fix (install) the Floor rail on a right position. 5. Connect Tube Stand into the Stand base. 6. Press down the tube head (tube arm) to the level where you can put the holding pin. It is necessary to pull it down without weight balance. 7. Put the holding pins around the balance weight box position. 8. Then install X-ray tube, Handle Bar and collimator. 9. And put balance weights into the tube stand (in the empty space of balance weights). The balance weights are very heavy, so please be careful when you move them into the space. 10. Check the cable connections and make them tight if necessary. 11. Make all the cable connections according to the cable diagram. 12. Check if all the connections are correct. 13. If the cable & wire connections are O.K, put main AC input power to the Generator. (Check AC input power level before you make Power ON) 14. One person holds the X-ray tube and the other removes the holding pin at behind of Tube Stand. 15. Check if the weight balance is O.K, if the balance is not perfect, add or remove the weight

balances. 16. PWR ON and check if electromagnetic lockup functions are all O.K – test it from Handle Bar. 17. The engineers should stay in the room until the installation works are all over.

Holding pin position 1. Set up the stand on Mobile base. 2. Fix the stand with bolts. 3. Press the tube arm down to the position where you can put the holding pin.

Balance weights Holding pin position 4. Check the holding pin position and put it in. 5. Insert balance weights into the stand. 6. Holding the Arm well and remove the holding pin then check if the weight balance is O.K
