Here is Andy, the wide and comfy overalls. With it’s numerous patched pockets and topstitches, it is very functional, and will give you an easy access to your phone, lipstick, keys or other fun stuff you might need during the day, without necessarily having to carry a purse around. As a plus, it will give you a little «Babe the Builder» look. Andy will fit your height perfectly, thanks to its adjustable braces. You can wear it all year long, depending on the fabric you will choose.

Sew the loops by stitching a second time over the hem stitch of the bib.

Prenez les bretelles de la salopette. Pliezles endroit contre endroit dans le sens de la largeur. Piquez un des petits côtés et le grand côté. Faites des points d’arrêt.

Take the braces parts. Fold them in half in the width, right sides together. Sew only one of the smallest sides, and the long side. Stopstitch.

Retournez sur l’endroit en dégarnissant les coins au préalable. Repassez.

Clip the angles, turn inside out and iron.

Prenez maintenant les poches devant du pantalon. Surfilez les contours et préformez les valeurs de couture à l’aide du fer à repasser. Piquez le côté arrondi à 0,7cm, ce sera l’ouverture de la poche.

Take the front legs’ pockets. Overlock or zigzag stitch the edges and pre-fold the sewing allowances with the iron. Stitch the curved side at 0.7cm, which will be the pocket opening.

Placez les poches sur les jambes devants de la salopette en suivant les crans. Épinglez et piquez en nervure ou à 0,5cm pour maintenir la poche. Ne piquez pas l’entrée de poche !

Place the pockets on the front legs following the notches. Pin and stitch at 0.1cm or 0.5 cm. Don’t stitch over the pocket opening!

Surfilez le contour de la patte de boutonnage de chaque jambe devant ou faites un point zig zag.

Overlock or zigzag stitch around the button tab of each front leg.

Repliez grâce aux crans la patte vers l’intérieur, et repassez au fer.

Fold the button tabs to the wrong side of the legs following the notches. Iron press.

Préformez maintenant les valeurs de couture de la poche arrière d’Andy en les repliant à 1cm. Préformez le haut de la poche en repliant 2 fois à l’aide des crans. Piquez le haut de la poche.

Iron press the sewing allowances of Andy’s back pockets at 1cm. Using the notches, fold the top of the pocket twice, to form the hem and iron press. Stitch the pocket’s hem.

Placez les poches arrières sur les fesses de la salopette en suivant les pointages et piquez en nervure ou à 0,5 cm.

Préformez l’ourlet des bas de jambes à l’aide du fer en suivant les crans.

Iron press the hem of the bottom legs following the notches.

Épinglez et piquez.

Pin and stitch.

Faites les boutonnières et cousez les boutons sur les pattes de boutonnage des côtés et sur les bretelles de la salopette. Vous pouvez enfiler Andy pour placer les boutons des bretelles en fonction de votre taille.

Make the button holes and sew the buttons on the button tab and the braces. You can try Andy out to place the buttons according to your size.
