Cut the front skir t, back skir t, bib, small pocket, big pocket, once on the right side. Cut the pocket bags, pockets, patched back pockets, braces, and belts twice: once on the right side, once on the wrong side. Cut the loops four times. Do not forget to mark notches and circles. You can use interfacing for the belt if needed.

Coupez la jupe devant, la jupe dos, la bavette, la petite poche, la grande poche une fois sur l’endroit. Coupez les fonds de poches, sacs de poches, poches plaquées, bretelles et ceintures devant et dos, deux fois : 1x sur l’endroit et 1x sur l’envers. Les passants sont à couper 4x. Nous allons c ommenc er par le s poches. Prenez la petite poche (pièce n°3). Pliez le haut de la poche 2x1cm.

We’ll start with the pockets. Take the smallest one (piece n°3) and fold the top hem 2x1cm.

Marquez l’ourlet au fer.

Iron press.

Pliez les autres côtés à 1cm au fer. Répétez les étapes 1 à 3 pour la grande poche (pièce n°2).

Prefold the other sides at 1cm, using the iron. Repeat steps 1 to 3 for the big pocket (piece n°2) as well.

Piquez l’ourlet du haut de la petite poche à 0,75cm puis épinglez la petite poche sur la grande à l’aide des pointages. Piquez les côtés et le bas à 0,5cm.

Stitch the top hem of the small pocket at 0.75cm and pin it on the big pocket, following the marks. Stitch the sides and bottom at 0.5cm.

Piquez l’ourlet du haut de la grande poche à 0,75cm puis épinglez-la sur la bavette à l’aide des pointages. Piquez les côtés et le bas à 0,75cm.

Stitch the top hem of the big pocket at 0.75cm and pin it on the bib, following the marks. Stitch the sides and bottom at 0.5cm.

Pré-pliez au fer 2x1cm tout autour de la bavette, sauf la ligne de taille.

Prefold the sides of the bib 2x1cm using the iron, except for the waistline.

Épinglez puis piquez à 0,75 ou 0,5cm.

Pin and stitch at 0.75cm.

N’hésitez pas à ce moment-là à marquer et faire vos boutonnière si vous le souhaitez.

Passez à la jupe devant. Prenez les sacs de poche et posez-les endroit contre endroit sur la jupe, en faisant coïncider les courbes d’entrée de poche. Piquez à 1cm.

Take the front skirt and the pocket bags. Overlap those against the front skirt, right sides together. Make the pocket opening curve match. Stitch at 1cm.

Retournez la poche vers l’intérieur et repasser. Vous pouvez auparavant dégarnir la valeur de couture si besoin.

Turn the pocket bag towards the wrong side and iron. You can notch the seam allowance first if necessary.

Épinglez la courbe d’entrée de poche, puis piquez à 0,5cm ou 0,75cm du bord selon votre envie.

Pin the pocket opening curve and stitch at 0.5 or 0.75cm.

Superposez le fond de poche sur le sac de poche, endroit contre endroit. Faites attention à ce que les courbes coïncident. Épinglez uniquement la grande courbe que vous voyez sur la photo.

Piquez à 1cm. Puis faites un surjet ou un zigzag sur le pourtour de la courbe.

Remettez votre travail sur l’endroit, puis épinglez les poches à la jupe, au niveau de la ligne de taille et de la ligne de côté, pour maintenir. Faites une piqûre morte à 0,5cm. Répétez les étapes 9 à 15 pour l’autre poche.

Turn inside out your work to the right side. Pin the pocket and pocket bag along the waistline and side seams. Stitch at 0.5cm. Repeat steps 9 to 15 for the other pocket.

Prenez ensuite les poches plaquées dos. Repliez 2x1cm au fer le haut de la poche.

À l’aide d’un gabarit en carton, repliez les autres bords à 1cm au fer.

Using a cardboard template, fold the sides at 1cm with the iron.

Prenez la jupe dos. Marquez les pointages et crans de pinces. Vous pouvez les tracer au stylo sur l’envers si besoin.

Take the back skirt. Mark the notches and circles. You can draw the darts on the wrong side if you need.

Pliez la pince et épinglez. Piquez en suivant la ligne tracée. Faites des points d’arrêt solides.

Fold the darts and pin. Stitch along the line and don’t forget to make stop stitches.

Repassez les pinces. Vous pouvez à ce moment-là placer les poches plaquées dos sur la jupe dos et les piquer à 0,5cm pour les maintenir.

Iron press the darts. Place the patched pockets on the back skirt marks, pin them, and stitch at 0.5cm.

Prenez les bretelles. Pliez-les en deux endroit contre endroit, et piquez à 1cm le long bord et le bord biseauté.

Take the braces. Fold them in half, right sides together and stitch at 1cm along the long side and the beveled one.

Crantez en biais l’angle.

Clip the angle.

Retournez la bretelle et repasser. Si votre tissu le nécessite, vous pouvez surpiquer les côtés de la bretelles à 0,5cm.

Turn inside out and iron press. You can topstitch the sides of the braces if you fabric requires it.

Prenez les ceintures et les passants. Surjetez le bas des ceintures. Faites les passants en les pliant en 3 puis en surpiquant à 0,2cm les bords.

Take the belts parts and the loops. Overlock the bottom of the belts. Make the loops by folding them in 3 and topstitching their sides at 0.2cm.

Sur une des ceintures dos et une des ceintures devant, à l’aide des crans, placez les passants. Piquez le haut et bas des passants à 0,5cm pour maintenir. Ces ceintures seront les « ceintures dessus ».

On one back and one front waistline parts, place the loops following the notches. Stitch the top and bottom of the loops at 0.5cm to keep them in place. These waistlines will be called « top waistline ».

Endroit contre endroit, superposez les 2 ceintures qui ont des passants. Épinglez le côté droit au porté. Piquez à 1cm.

Overlap the 2 waistband parts with the loops, right sides together. Pin on the right-handed side and stitch at 1cm.

Superposez la jupe devant et dos endroit c ontre endroit . Épingle z les lignes de côtés. Piquez à 1cm. Attention sur le côté gauche, une partie n’est pas piquée car le zip invisible sera à cet emplacement.

Overlap the front and back skirts, right sides together. Pin the side seams and stitch at 1cm. Careful! On the left side, a part of the side seam stays opened for the invisible zipper.

Ouvrez au fer les coutures. Vous pouvez surjeter à ce moment-là.

Iron the seams opened. You can make an overlock now.

Endroit contre endroit, épinglez les « ceintures dessus » sur le haut de la ligne de taille de jupe. Attention à ce que la ceinture devant aille avec la jupe devant. Piquez à 1cm.

Pin the « top waistbands » against the skirt’s waistline, right sides together. Careful, the front waistband must match the front skirt! Stitch at 1cm.

Repassez la ceinture vers le haut.

Iron the waistband.

Gardez la jupe telle qu’elle était en image 31 et venez posez la bavette sur le haut de la ceinture devant, endroit contre endroit en faisant coïncider le milieu. Épinglez. Piquez à 1cm.

Keep the skirt as it were in picture 31 and place the bib on the top of the front waistband, right sides together. Make the middles match and stitch at 1cm along the waistline.

Épinglez le bord franc des bretelles sur l’endroit de la jupe dos en vous aidant des crans.

On the back waistband, pin the bottom part of the braces using the notches that are on the back skirt.

Par dessus la bavette et les bretelles, venez superposer l’autre ceinture, endroit de la ceinture contre envers de la bavette. Épinglez.

On top of the bib and braces, overlap the second waistband, the right side of the waistband against the wrong side of the bib. Pin.

Piquez à 1cm là où vous avez épinglé.

Stitch at 1cm where you’ve pinned.

Retournez la robe et tirez sur les bretelles et la bavette pour bien les placer. Repassez la ceinture.

Turn inside out the dress and pull on the bib and braces to adjust them. Iron press the waistband.

Ouvrez votre zip. Sur le côté gauche de la robe, épinglez le zip. Il doit être maintenu du haut de la « ceinture dessus » au bas du zip. Puis épinglez par dessus le zip la ceinture dessous comme sur la photo. Piquez au plus près des dents du zip. Faites de même pour l’autre bord du zip.

Open the zipper. On the left side of the dress, pin the zipper. Maintain it from the top of the « top waistband » to the zipper’s bottom. Fold the « under waistband » over the zipper just as shown on the picture and pin. Stitch close to the zipper teeth. Repeat for the other side of the skirt and zipper.

Retournez la ceinture vers l’intérieur. Vérifiez que le zip coulisse bien.
