Boot and leg (make 2): Use a 2 mm crochet hook for the legs, body, head, and arms. The gnom is worked from the legs up. We are going to work in spiral rounds. Work the boot first. Starting at sole, yarn color light beige. Stuff the boot and the leg as you go. Begin crocheting the left leg. Ch 7 and work starting from the 2nd ch from hook. Try using cardboard or plastic in the bottom of the sole, so that the gnom will stand upright more easily. Cut two pieces of cardboard or plastic in size of the sole (R1-R5). Put aside for later.

Place the eyes between rounds 91 and 92 (count down 21 rows from the top of the head) the eyes are 10 stitches apart. Mark the place for the nose 1 row down from the eyes. Embroider the mouth. Fix the ears, the nose and the cheeks to the head with the help of the sewing pins and then sew on with small sewing stitches following the edge of the detail, use similar colored thin sewing thread. After finishing have the needle exit at the top of the head, fix the thread well and hide its ends inside the head.

Hair: Place the markers into the back loop of the crochets of the 49nd row (19 st and 44 st) on the front edge of the hat (markers in the photo) Attach the brown colored yarn and we are going to crochet strands of hair further on. Right leg of the breeches: Attach the yarn to the 1th stitch of the 15th row of the breeches. R 1: 40 dc (35 dc on the main detail, 5 dc on the other side of the on chain) R 2: 1 dc, dec, (6 dc, dec)*4 times, 5 dc (35) R 3: 4 dc, dec, (5 dc, dec)*4 times, 1 dc (30) R 4: (1 slst, 1 ch)*30 times (60) Cut and fasten off.

Decor:

Use 2mm hook • Attach the gray color yarn into the front loop of the stitch of the 5nd row. Then crochet (1 sc, 1 ch) in each st around. Finish the row with slst, cut and fix the yarn.

• Finishing the Neck Lines. Attach the white yarn at the back of the neck. Then crochet 1 sc in each st of the neck. Cut off and fasten off. Attach the button. • Decorative belts- make 65 ch from the grey yarn. The grey thread stretch between the crochets of the 3 th row of the leg of the breeches.
