ZHEN QI PAI

By Jeff McDuffie

About the cover art: It is Huangdi (The Yellow Emperor) the founder of the zhen qi flow theory. He is practising Zhen Qi matching kan and li meditation which is the first form of Zhen Qi Pai. The origins of Zhen-Qi: The existence and the flow of Zhen-Qi has been recorded throughout the Chinese history for the last 5,000 years, expressed and encoded in a form of work of arts such as paintings, poetic and literature. It also has been practiced in different forms of martial arts such as Tai Chi, Kung Fu, Qigong. However, only a privileged few throughout these millennia can decipher the true meaning of behind these works of arts. The flow of Zhen Qi as well as the technique of Zhen-Qi Yun Xing all originated from the Chinese ancient text of Huangdi Niejing or the Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon, which is the fundamental doctrine of today’s chinese Medicine. There was a chapter titled Zhen-Qi Yun Xing which was missing and it was a common knowledge among the scholars that the missing chapter was gone forever. Nevertheless, the original (ancient) Zhen-Qi Yun Xing technique had survived and had only been passed from generation to generation within certain privileged families in China for the last few millennia. For over 7 generations, it was also one of the closely guarded secrets of the Grand Masters of the southern Shaolin temple, where the knowledge was passed on only to the successor of the Grand Master and not to the general population of the monks in the shaolin temple. The creation of the Zhen Qi Pai: The Zhen Qi Pai formed out of a need for methods of internal energy training that actually work to build super amounts of Qi. After reading countless books ive consolidated here some of the most effective ive found into a progressive order. The training methods in this system contain all elements of both hard and soft qigong and neigong making it a well rounded and complete system. One major thing i found out quick in reading so many internal energy training books is "no one book is going to have everything you want in it". In order to find the things you want you literally have to read them all and remember a large amount of info and then later gather up the training info, narrow it all down then consolidate only the best. Over that course of time i got pretty good at developing highly effective techniques of my own that i consolidated. So the Zhen Qi Pai is my own system created out of a massive amount of reading on internal energy training. Of course i know many other methods but ive settled on the ones in this manual. This system has a certain amount of freedom to it to change as needed be. There's no special ways of mudra, positions you must be locked in or precise arm positions etc because you can incorporate your own ways of using the core methods. What's important is "practice" and putting in tbe most time you can in any position. The more time you put in the more results gained. 10, 20 minutes once every couple days does not cut it at all. Fight the laziness through forced disciplines to master your own mind. That is what meditation was originally meant to do anyway.

Preliminaries, Suggestions And Rules #1. The 108 day no sex rule is in effect. If you break this rule you start all over. #2. There's no excuses at all not to train. Family, friends and work or problems etc is no excuse. You make the time no matter what even if you are injured you still train lying down in bed or in a chair. #3. Grounding is important to expand the aura into the earth. When you ground you are pulling up yin qi from the earth making a yin qi field. Stand on the earth and sink all the yang qi down into the earth as far as possible. You do this walking also. Get used to grounding. #4. There's no restrictions on diet or alcohol as long as they are in moderation. Never train on a full stomach or with alcohol in the system this includes cough syrup. #5. Lower dantian rubbing is used before and after practice. You put the palms over the lower dantian and press in and rub clockwise to generate heat and friction. Use a small amount of lubricant to prevent a burn. Which hand you place over the other hand dont matter. This practice is to increase ldt qi and seal it in. Rub 100 times and work up to 500 times. This is a cultivation practice not a warm up. It generates extra energy so its important. #6. This system works mainly with the internal energy of the body, which is the true yin and yang, so it can be practiced inside without the need of a funny looking grounding device prop. Learning to ground is a energy expansion practice (that goes for the huiyin when sitting also) and it can only be learned outside with no shoes on. The body parts must be in direct contact with the earth. No excuses to get around it and it cant be cheated. Non-rubber shoes are ok. #7. This system is in a special order of progress. As you'll see it is designed to fuse yin and yang almost at the start. This order of practices are not to be practiced out of order. It is specifically designed to fuse yin and yang and compound it many times. #8. It is recommended to take zinc, vitamin K2 (in mg not mcg), DHEA (if over 29 years old), boron, butea superba and vitamin D. This combination is more powerful for health and jing then anything else and they are not that expensive. If you cant take them all then zinc picolinate, vitamin k2 (as menaquinone in mg at least 10mg not in mcg
