MGallery Key Criteria - International Edition 1. DESIGN

MGallery hotels are full-service hotels, international 5* standards MGallery hotels must include a breakfast room, a bar (with a food offer if no restaurant), a “Smoking Room”, a fitness facility. It must also include a “Living Room” : i.e. an open and intimate space (between a salon and lounge), warm ambiance and set a little apart. The « Living Room » enables to increase the feeling of quality of the MGallery experience, while putting forward the hotel’s story. In city-centre hotels, when possible, a 24/7 Wellness/Fitness centre will be included In Resorts, a Spa will be included. Other facilities are usually included but are subject to market needs: Restaurant, meeting/conference rooms, car parking facilities (private or 24h public within 100m maximum). The hotel must be operated independently from any other building (including energy supplies). However distinctive the design of an MGallery hotel may be, it must facilitate the daily work of the employees. 2 MGallery bedrooms can be of different sizes (minimum 22m in Europe but often bigger). Each hotel may have a different interior design for bedroom/bathroom. Each hotel to include 2 minimum 2 suites (40m minimum but often bigger). The interior design to the bedrooms & to the public areas to be carried out by an Interior Designer approved by MGallery, and according to the hotel planned personality. Preferably all public areas should be on the same floor and visible from the reception area. The bar & the restaurant must be next to each other The kitchen must be located close to the restaurant. MGallery label & technical guidelines must be complied with. Hotel architectural & interior design to be approved by ACCOR, prior to implementation. A Technical Assistance Contract must be entered into with ACCOR Technical Services Minimum lifts requirement = 2 passenger lifts + 1 service lift to all floors + separate lift to car park if in basement (Hotels over 100 bedrooms).

Acoustic performance is the No. 1 technical performance criterion Noise level at bed head must not exceed 30 dB(A) during night time.

A site environmental survey must always be carried out BEFORE works start on site Energy recovery must always be included on main heating/cooling/ventilation systems Low energy lighting fittings must be used extensively throughout the hotel Water flow regulators to basin taps (6l/mn) & showers (12l/mn) must be included.

MGallery hotels to be accessible to wheelchair users Minimum 2.5% of bedrooms to be accessible to wheelchair users
7. CONSTRUCTION SITE

Hoarding to be supplied, maintained and painted by contractor to ACCOR’s design without 3 party advertising panels MGallery sign boards and banners to be erected during all construction period
