Lost Souls Scarf

This scarf uses the skulls from the Lost Souls Skull Shawl by Maryetta Roy. You can find her original pattern here (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/lostsouls-skull-shawl) Permission was given by Maryetta Roy to use her skull motif For the two scarves in this pattern I used a 5mm hook and about 245 yards of Caron Simply Soft yarn. However this pattern can be used in any weight yarn and hook that you prefer. Abbreviations: (American Terminology) Chain (ch) Single Crochet (sc): Insert hook and pull up loop, yarn over and pull through both loops on hook. Again, there is no real gauge for this. You can use any weight of yarn and hook. Beginning shell: ch3, dc, ch1, 2dc Shell: 2dc, ch1, 2dc [all in ch1 sp of shell from previous row] Dbl Shell: Shell, ch2, shell [all in ch1 sp of shell from previous row]

Repeat from round 2-14 until you have 6 skulls ending with round 13 then start over and make another set of 6. Leave a tail of 6-8 inches. Now you will need to make 1 motif by working rows 1-13.

Arrange your 2 lengths and single motif as shown in photo below and sew together.

Weave in all ends.
