Remarks: All the equipment functional test can be carried out only after the power supply is available. Pre-commisioning will be taken 2 week and actual commisioning will be taken 1 week time after the raw water supply is available.

Measuring Apparatus:

1.Voltmeter tester 2. Ammeter tester 3. Pressure Gauge

Methods: Performance test of the pump 1. Check the pipeline to ensure no leaking and that pump suction pipe is fully primed. 2. Suction valve is fully open and delivery valve is fully close. 3. Check incoming three phase power supply by voltmeter. The supply voltage shall be 400V to 440V. 4. Start the pump motor and check motor rotation. 5. When the motor runs to full speed, open the delivery valve slowly until fully open. 6. Allow the pump run for a few minutes until the flow reading is steady. 7. Record the pump flow (m3/hr), suction and discharge gauge pressure (m), voltage (V), ampere (I) and power factor (ρ). 8. Throttle the delivery valve to 75% opened position, then repeat 6 & 7. 9. Repeat step 7 by throttle the delivery valve to 50% opened position, 25% opened position and fully closed position. 10. Stop the pump. 11. Plot the performance curves H-Q and verifies the pump efficiency at duty point.
