NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE 54th GRADUATION CEREMONY OF TUNGAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL S.Y. 2018 – 2019
“No goal was ever too hard to accomplish, failure wasn’t an option, so keep your mindset on the bigger picture. Hardwork, dedication and wise decision-making will help you accomplish your graduation goal.” I always tell these words to my pupils. As they step the stage today to receive their diplomas, my heart is filled with mixed emotions – love, sadness, and the self-fulfillment that I am once – their teacher. For 54 years of providing quality education, Tungal Elementary School is continuously soaring to a greater height. As TES celebrated this year’s graduation exercises, the school is determined in producing competitive and quality graduates. As candidates for graduation soar higher, the school aims to highlight the new face of quality education with K-12 as its backbone. TES finally ended school year 2018-2019 with its graduation ceremony with the theme “Pagkakaisa sa Pagkakaiba-iba: Kalidad na Edukasyon Para sa Lahat” on April 4, 2019 at 8 a.m. in the TES grounds. Present in the occasion was Dr. Placida De La Vega as the evaluator representative from the Division of Batangas. The ceremony started with the processional of the pupils, parents, teachers, guests, guest speaker, and the representative from the division followed by the singing of the National Anthem with Mrs. Lorena B. Atienza, Grade 1 teacher conducting. Two honor pupils, in the persons of Prince Benedict B. Valencia and Carl Renzo C. Cornejo led the recitation of the “Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas” and “Panatang Makabayan” respectively. Then, another honor pupil, Kim Yesha P. Mirano, led the prayer. Himno ng Calabarzon, Himno ng Batangan and Himno ng San Luis were played and sang, again, with Mrs. Lorena B. Atienza conducting. Afterwards, John Emmanuel Q. Seda, second commendable, With Honors, delivered his words of gratitude followed by singing of a graduation song by the candidates. Next, Mrs. Maricel S. Villanueva, Grade 5 teacher introduced the guest speaker. The guest speaker, Mrs. Laarni V. Magsombol is a graduate of Tungal Elementary School Batch S.Y. 1995-1996. Afterwards, Magsombol delivered her message for the graduates. Consequently, Mrs. Valyn R. Encarnacion, Grade 6 Adviser, presented the candidates for graduation, then, acknowledged by Miss Lorilyn D. Ebreo, TES Principal and confirmed by Dr. Placida De La Vega, Division Representative. After the confirmation, the graduates finally received their diplomas. Miss Ebreo read the message of Department of Education Secretary Leonor M. Briones to the graduates. On the other hand, Mrs. Encarnacion read the message of Region IV Director, Diosdado M. San Antonio. As well, Mrs. Atienza read the message of OIC Assistant Regional Director, Carlito D. Rocafort; lastly, Dr. De La Vega read the message of Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Manuela S. Tolentino. Further, the program went on with a video presentation entitled “Ambisyon Nation 2040. Then, followed by the awarding of medals and certificates that the graduates have earned in the past years of their education. This will serve as their inspiration and motivation to continue their journey.

Moreover, Czarlyn P. Cornejo, With High Honors, delivered her words of gratitude followed by the Pledge of Loyalty by the graduates led by pupil, Ashley Mae J. Pura, With Honors. Miss Lorilyn D. Ebreo, delivered her message to the graduates – that would serve as their inspiration as they go through another challenge towards their dreams. To conclude, the graduates went up the stage again to sing “This Is Not Goodbye” as a thank you song. After all their hardships, the graduates, bid adieu and finally left their Alma Mater with all the knowledge that they have earned through the help of their teachers. They will now face the new challenges that awaits them.
