Generatorregler mit BSS-/LIN-Protokoll stellen die neueste Produkt-Generation von Reglern dar. Die Besonderheit bei diesen Reglern sind zwei neu entwickelte Technologien:

Voltage regulators that use a BSS or LIN communication protocol represent the latest product generation of regulators. These type of voltage regulators use two newly developed technologies:

• BSS (Bit-Synchrone Schnittstelle) • LIN (Local Interconnect Network)

• BSS (Bit Synchronic Interface) • LIN (Local Interconnect Network)

Diese neuen Technologien erfüllen die wachsenden Ansprüche, die moderne Fahrzeugsysteme an die Bordelektronik haben. Oberklasse Modelle verfügen zurzeit über mehr als 90 Steuergeräte. Diese müssen untereinander und mit ihren angeschlossenen Teilnehmern kommunizieren können.

These new technologies fulfill the growing requirements that modern vehicles have in relation to the onboard electronics. High end passenger cars today already have more than 90 different control units, which all communicate with each other and with connected devices.

Die neuen BSS- und LIN-Regler wurden entsprechend der OE-Spezifikationen in Deutschland entwickelt. Sie stellen eine Weiterentwicklung der bisher bekannten Multifunktionsregler dar und sind im Vergleich zu diesen komplexer und auch schneller, wodurch eine deutlich flexiblere und präzisere Regelung möglich wird.

LIN and BSS reulators can be considered as a further development stage of the already well-known multifunctional regulators and have been developed by us according to the OE specifications. Compared to these, BSS and LIN regulators are much more complex and faster; therefore allowing for greater flexibility and more precise regulation.

Der Grundaufbau bzw. die Hierachie der Steuergeräte und die Systemarchitektur des BSS- und des LINSystems sind identisch. Sie unterscheiden sich lediglich durch den Aufbau des zu übertragenden Signals.

The basic set-up and hierarchy of the control units and general system architecture of the BSS and LIN systems is identical. Only the structure of the transmitted signal is different.
