Powodzenie operacyjne spowodowalo decyzj~ o podj~ciu produkcji wersji G-2 bazujqcej na Ju 870-5. W publikacji przedstawione sq etapy rozwoju samolotu z silnikiem Jumo 211J-1 o mocy 1 045 KW (1420 HP). Ostatnie wersje G-1 i G-2, kt6re posiadaty zainstalowane w~zty przeznaczone do podwieszania pod skrzydtami dziatek Bordkanone BK 3,7 zostaty zilustrowane w trzech skalach . Samolotu Ju 87G-1 wyprodukowano zaledwie 20 sztuk. W pierwszych egzemplarzach pozostawiono jeden skrzydtowy ofensywny karabin maszynowy MG 17 kal. 7,92 mm. Uzbrojeniem obronnym obu wersji byt km MG 81 Z (Zwilling), kal. 7,92 mm w opancerzonej lawecie GSL-k 81 . or the "cannon bird " (Kanonenvogen . In the latter part of the war the Luftwaffe brass were looking for a strike aircraft that could put a dent in the overwhelmingly superior Allied armor units. The underpowered Hs 129 was just not up to the formidable challenge. German engineers came up with a simple and effective solution : they bolted the 3.7 mm Flak 18 AA cannon onto a rugged and heavily armored airframes of the Ju 870-3 and Ju 870-5.The Ju 87G1 first flew on January 31, 1943 and soon the first batch of the new model arrived at the specialized experimental anti-tank warfare unit (Versuchsverband fur Panzerbekdmpfung) - Kommando WeifJ. After successful operational trials the G-2 version (based on the Ju 870-5) went into production. This publication outlines the development of the aircraft powered by the Jumo 211 J-1 engine (1 045 KW, 1 420 HP). The late G-1 and G-2 models equipped with the Bordenkanone BK 3,7 have been presented in three different scales. Only 20 examples of the Ju 87G1 version were produced . The early production models retained a sing le, wing mounted MG 17 7.92 mm machine gun, while both variants carried one MG 81Z (Zwilling) 7,92 mm machine gun as defensive armament, which was installed in the G5L-k 81 armored mount. Ju 87G-1's wings featured the dive brake hinges and push rods, while Ju 87G-2 had factory-modified wing. The "cannon birds" are the key models discussed here and as such have been presented in three different scales: 1/72, 1/48 and 1/32.

The unit code T6 is not readible from the photo but it probably appeared on the fuselage, painted in black to the left of the Balkenkreuzes. The individual aircraft lener'H'in white colour was also painted on the front of each wheel spat. The Balkenkreuz on fuselage and Hakenkreuzes were painted in awhite outline only.
