Wear appropriate clothing (lightweight, light-colored, loosefitting, cotton) and carry a water container with you of at least 1-2 liters to fill regularly drink at least 2 liters of water every 2-3 hours Add a little more salt to meals in summer to replace salt lost in sweat Self-pace your work – do not push your body beyond its limits Avoid drinks with caffeine, alcohol, or large amounts of sugar Monitor employees who are at risk of heat stress Take more breaks in extreme heat and humidity, take breaks in the shade or a cool area when possible Monitor your physical condition and that of your co-workers.
Weight of DG : 1.7 T Capacity of Boom Truck :3T Follow SEOT road rules, speed limits and signage Valid UAE driving license Trained Flagman should be available to escort the boom truck

Ensure equipment is operated on a stable, level surface Ensure to check machine daily for fuel and oil leaks Switch engine off before refueling and make sure fuel cap is replaced Dip tray should be placed to prevent soil contamination by QF-HSSE-030

Wear ear protection when operating DG
All moving parts should be protected with guards or covers. Do not remove guards or covers. Maintenance or repairing should be done by competent personnel only

Recommendations Mid-day break shall be taken from 12.30pm to 03.00 pm
Rest shelter and drinking water shall be provided as nearest to the work place ,supervisor shall be ensure workers are getting plenty of water and required rest Emergency procedures, nearest assembly point, wind sock and eye wash shower shall be identified and Familiarize work crew during TBT. SEOT Rest shelter, drinking water and ablution facility shall be used by the crew.
Operate DG in well ventilated area, never run DG indoors Monitor levels of CO emitted from DG by continuous gas monitoring Never place DG near doors, windows or vents
Remarks / Justifications As per Ministerial Decision No. (587) of 2009 and (26) of v2009 regarding working hours in the Sun To prevent the dehydration and other heat stress symptoms This can be make positive response and safe actions in case of emergency. Prior approval shall be obtained from SEOT.
