I have worked with various national and international government, non-government and private organizations for the projects in the field of culture which included designing, implementation, monitoring and management of cultural resources. Within my limited professional experience of four years, I have worked on various aspects of cultural heritage ranging from variety of projects which includes conjectural reconstruction of an archaeological site, adaptive reuse, structural retrofitting, up-gradation of services in an historic building, façade restoration, urban conservation and consolidation of heritage resource. While working on the preventive conservation of the Louvre museum, I got an exposure of the international work culture, documentation, recording and research which has in addition to my previous experiences, prepared me to handle all kinds of tasks required for this position. I have a proven track record to finish the tasks within the stipulated time. Please describe any skills and competencies you have, and which may be of particular relevance to this position. Managerial skills include resource mobilization, plan formulation, project management, team leader and building communication with the stakeholders. Technical skills include mapping of cultural resources, inventory & documentation, conditional assessment, preparation of prescription for remedial measures, preparation of conservation management plan and mobilization plan. I have coordinated and conducted capacity building programs for local authorities, inter-governmental, non-governmental organizations and other stakeholders involved in previous projects. I have also encouraged community participation in my projects to engage, educate and create awareness towards the history and culture of the place. I have worked on the projects of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Global Environment Facility (GEF), World Monuments Funds (WMF) which makes me aware of the international standards and functioning of international organizations.
