List each statement and label it either “growth mindset” or “fixed mindset”. •The secret to his success in his work carrier is his hard work- (growth mindset) •All hardship he faced during his childhood make his strong and not easily unbreakable-(growth mindset) •He (my interviewee’s) says life is full of ups and downs, so he trained himself to challenge the challenges, and fight for survival. - (growth mindset) •He said he couldn’t pass the interview for the job post as ground technician of airplanes, however, he was passing the written examination. It was such a disappointing time for him b/c he lost his childhood dream forever. Still now he is so afraid of job interviews. (Fixed mindset) D. Did your interviewee’s stories involve grit (or lack of grit)? Explain. Yes, my interviewee’s life, especially his childhood, as he said, was very difficult to express, but he is now successful in his life b/c he withstands all sorts of problems that he faces as a kid and young person and overcoming all challenges and reaching his goal. E. What surprised you about conducting this interview? What did you learn? I learnt one thing, grit is key to the survival of all human kinds.
