Material used of acceptable quality and matching specification & vendor list (Brand, Type, Size, Fittings). Installation accepted (Level, location, coordination with other services). Work is carried out by approved contractor by Kahramaa. Location
1.
Level Between 2200 mm Top & 900 mm Bottom for wall mounted panels & location is accessible & free of obstacles with front clearance not less than 900 mm.
2.
Panels are in permitted locations as per KM rules. Construction
1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7.
Panel ingress protection (IP) is suitable for installation location. Minimum cribbage distance maintained with live parts of panels and between exposed phased during wiring and termination. Panels internal form of separation is following specification and for LV-Panel it’s Form 2B Type 2. Exposed bus bars and live parts in panels are covered by internal insulating screen. No double cables connected inside breakers terminals, For multiple incomings/outgoings from barkers to be connected using proper sized copper terminals extensions or spreaders. No double lug connection done to single terminal in bars, bars to have enough length and holes to match incoming/outgoing cables numbers including spares. Metering and signaling instruments power supply is protected by fuse.
8.
Control circuits power supply is protected by fuse.
9.
All components short circuit rating to match panel short circuit level as per KM regulation.

For earth leakage protection neutral line is monitored for both 1phase and 3-phase systems. Installation
1. 2.
3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8.
No extra holes exist in boxes & trays/trunks. Glanding is done by double compression metal glands for armored and screened cables. Gland earthing lug is bolted to panel body by copper tinned bolts. Outgoings trays/trunks are connected to earth bar by Y/G conductor of cross section equal to biggest cable of tray/trunk earthing conductor size All fixing holes are used in mounting Where fixed to structure element, to be done using anchor bolt system. Panels to be fixed to single surface only, to avoid surfaces cracks due to different shrinkage/expansion directions and factors. (either wall or floor fixed) Labeling and identification done following drawings for panel and breakers. Drawings installed inside panels
