Post Installation Step in BW/4HANA System.

Below are the post-installation steps that need to perform before working with SAP BW/4HANA. Prerequisites The task list must be run in the BW/4 client you wish to set up. The following requirements apply to the system that you want to run the Initial Setup task list on. After the installation and before start working with SAP BW∕4HANA, need to run tasklist SAP_BW4_SETUP_SIMPLE in transaction STC01. This tasklist performs the basic system setup tasks, like creating and configuring the SAP BW∕4HANA background user, setting the SAP BW∕4HANA client and installing the essential technical content (content objects, mainly InfoObjects and variables which are needed to make SAP BW∕4HANA work). 2. SAP BW∕4HANA Cockpit Configuration-With SP08, SAP BW∕4HANA contains new Web UIs in the SAP BW∕4HANA Cockpit. The required configuration is part of the

SAP_BW4_SETUP_SIMPLE Tasklist. 3. If you perform a Support Package update, you can use SAP_BW4_LAUNCHPAD_SETUP. In the SAP BW∕4HANA use case as a data warehouse, the maximum scope is required. Please therefore set the parameter to 16 in the tasklist. 4. 5. You must install a permanent SAP license. When you install your SAP system, a temporary license is automatically installed.
