Each piece is crocheted in a continuous spiral, not in joined rounds, starting off with a magic ring. Use a stitch marker to mark the end of each round (a piece of contrasting yarn can be used if you don’t have any stitch markers). At the end of each line, you will find the number of stitches you should have in brackets. Legs, body and head are worked in a single piece. Please ensure that you stuff your bunny firmly as you go. I used a fine piece of wood to stuff the smaller pieces.

Fasten off and leave a long yarn tail to sew onto the head.

Finishing : Fold the bunny ears in half and sew onto the head. Sew the arms onto the body (position them on last round of the neck as pictured). Embroider the eyes with black yarn at round 8 with 9 stitches between.

Scarf: (with Liberty fabric) Trace on the piece of fabric a triangle of about 14x18 cm with a slight curve at the neck (see diagram). You can leave the scarf as it is, the edges raw, sew a little border or layer it with fabric: In that case, reproduce a second identical triangle and superimpose it on the first one, edges aligned. Make a seam all around, 0.5mm from the edge, leaving a small opening in the centre of the neck to be able to turn the fabric inside out (use a thin stick for the trickier parts). Then close this small opening with small stitches.

Tie the scarf around the neck of your bunny and enjoy ...
