PIN VOLTAGE CHARTS NOTE:
Unless stated otherwise in testing procedures, perform all voltage tests using a Digital Volt-Ohmmeter (DVOM) with a minimum 10-megohm input impedance. Voltage readings may vary slightly due to battery condition or charging rate.
PIN VOLTAGE DIAGNOSIS CAUTION: DO NOT connect voltmeter to ECM when ECM connectors are disconnected. 1. Ensure battery has a minimum of 11 volts with ignition switch in ON position. Turn ignition off and remove ECM from body to gain access to ECM terminals. 2. ECM is located under left side of dash. Ground ECM case. With wiring harness connectors connected, use voltmeter and appropriate PIN VOLTAGE CHART table to confirm correct voltage at each numbered terminal. See Fig. 1 .
