Commissioning Principles This is the commissioning instruction for the drive VARIODYN 100 / 140 / 220 as a part of an elevator system. For the commissioning of the control, the door drive and other components, please refer to the appropriate commissioning instructions. For document identification numbers and commissioning procedure of the complete elevator system commissioning there is a separate TK–document available. These commissioning instructions give you concise directions for commissioning designed to help you with your work. Carry out the steps in numerical order and do not go on to the next step until the work detailed in the previous step has been successfully completed. If anything does not go according to plan, determine why and then remedy the problem. You may find the ‘Diagnostics’ chapter in the Field Manual helpful in this case. Attention:

When installation travel is being performed with an ESE control station (recall control), travel is not automatically limited at the hoistway ends. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS MODE OF TRAVEL!

To avoid faults and errors when disconnecting plugs, make sure you pull only on the plug and not on the wiring or cable.

If the final factory test took place within the last 12 Months (see Date on the capacitor assembly group), a check of the DC link capacitors is to be carried out, otherwise the DC link capacitors must be readjusted. When UEIN on FEN t450 VAC, UZKE can be calculated using the following formula:
