TM223FH
FOREWORD This manual has been edited as a service update for the TM223F tractor. This tractor is a mechanical transmission version of the TM223 series. This manual provides only the service information unique to the TM223F, so on the common service topics among TM tractors please refer to the service manual available for the TM215F & TM217F (Book No. SM-TM-EN-10) and the manual available separately for the engine E3112 (Book No. SM-E/SF TF-EN-11). The chapters, section numbers, titles, figure numbers, etc. in this service update correspond to those of the manual for TM215F & TM217F. GENERAL PRECAUTIONS Servicing procedures outlined in both manuals contain sufficient information to return all component parts of a tractor to new condition. In discussion of each component part, it is assumed that a complete overhaul is being performed, consequently, complete disassembly and reassembly are outlined. The mechanic is relied upon to decide how far disassembly must be carried out when complete overhaul is not required. Study unfamiliar service procedures thoroughly and understand them clearly before attempting disassembly. Specific data essential for proper overhaul, such as running clearances and torque values, have been provided in interline of inspection and reassembling procedures of each group section. This manual was compiled from latest information available at time of publication. However ISEKI reserves the right to make changes at any time without notice. Whenever the terms “left” and “right” are used, this means as viewed by the operator when seated in the operator’s seat. Whenever servicing the tractors, pay sufficient attention to operational safety to protect you and other persons around the machines from danger by following carefully the instructions given in both manuals. Never take chances!

a. After having installed the RBB (6006-2RSSH2) and collar (48×57×03) into the inside of the spur gear (26T), and applied oil sufficiently to them, set up the jig A and insert the one-way clutch while taking care so as to prevent the clutch from being twisted. Place the Jig B on the one-way clutch and push it down into position.
30°
b. Never drop the clutch on the floor, as this could lead to a deformed cage or a dislocated sprag, etc.
ø57 ø62
c. Install the sprag into the outer race and then install the hub.
Jig B Should be chamfered
d. When installing the sprag into the outer race, be sure to avoid slanted installation. The whole sprag should be compressed when installed.
t=4.5 Should be chamfered
e. As the sprag is equipped with drag clips, some force is required to install it, but take care not to damage the drag clips.
