Note : USE OF BIO-DEGRADABLE OILS When you use Bio-degradable Oil (BIO OIL), refer to the following information. 1. There are two types of BIO OIL available; vegetable-based and synthetic-based. You are recommended to use the synthetic-based type, because the vegetable-based oil has a maximum usage temperature of 80˚C {176˚F}. Because of this, the degradation of vegetable-based oil occurs more rapidly, and causes reduced service life. 2. Do not mix either type of BIO OIL with the original factory-filled mineral oil, in the case that you do use BIO OIL, it is required to flush the hydraulic system that was filled with BIO OIL three times. 3. If you use BIO OIL, slewing and propel parking brake performance will be reduced, because of the lower friction factor of BIO OIL compared to that of mineral oil. 4. For further information about recommended Bio-degradable oil, please contact our distributor.

SK75UR-3E CAB INTERFERENCE PREVENTION SYSTEM (SK75UR-3E) Note : The contents in para. 1), 2) and 3), are in common to the concerned sections (Boom up, Arm in, Off-set left). 1) The potentiometer output voltages for boom, arm and off-set operations are input to mechatro controller. 2) The mechatro controller detects that any of boom, arm and off-set are entered in interference area with each potentiometer output voltage. 3) And simultaneously detects the ATT position and speed, and outputs command to proportional valves for boom up, arm in and off-set left to gradually stop the movement in the interference area, according to respective command. (1) Boom up 4) The boom up proportional valve controls the proportional valve secondary pressure according to command output by mechatro controller; consequently the conflux valve of boom main spool and boom on the control valve starts returning. 5) Simultaneously changes value of command to P2 cut proportional valve according to the controlled boom up pilot secondary pressure. 6) And P2 cut proportional valve controls the proportional valve secondary pressure to the pressure corresponding to the command output by mechatro controller. 7) The boom main spool and boom conflux valve, and P2 cut proportional valve are switched by mechatro pressure command, consequently cylinder supply flow rate is gradually reduced during boom up operation in the range of boom up interference area, and ATT smoothly stops. (2) Arm in 4) The arm in proportional valve controls proportional valve secondary pressure according to command output by mechatro controller, consequently the arm main spool on the control valve starts returning. 5) Simultaneously changes values of command to P1 cut valve & Arm conflux valve and P2 cut proportional valve according to the controlled arm in pilot secondary pressure. 6) And P1 cut valve & Arm conflux valve and P2 cut proportional valve control the proportional valve secondary pressure to the pressure corresponding to the command output by mechatro controller. 7) The arm main spool and P1 cut & Am conflux valve and P2 cut proportional valve are switched by mechatro pressure command, consequently cylinder supply flow rate is gradually reduced during arm in operation in the range of arm in interference area, and ATT smoothly stops. (3) Off-set left 4) The off-set left proportional valve controls proportional valve secondary pressure according to command output by mechatro controller; consequently the off-set main spool on the control valve starts returning. 5) The off-set main spool is switched by mechatro pressure command, consequently cylinder supply flow rate is gradually reduced during off-set left operation in the range of off-set left interference area, and ATT smoothly stops.

SK75UR-3E SK130UR-1E 7-2 OUTLINE AND SWITCHES 1. Functions 1) Cab/canopy interference prevention function 2) Height/depth display function 3) Height limitation function 4) Depth limitation function 5) Off-set L/H limitation function When attachment is closing to cab/canopy, it will be stopped automatically. In order to operate the interference prevention system in safety, keep the following caution.
• If the machine is started operating without warming up in cold weather, the auto stop position of the cab interference preventive equipment may shift. So don’t fail to warm up after starting the engine. • When checking the function of the cab interference preventive equipment, operate the lever slowly.
Sensor (Off-set) • Never remove and attach and disassemble to repair the sensor. It may cause the malfunction of the interference preventive equipment. Would you please contact KOBELCO distributor. • When the sensor is struck and external flaw is found, check the auto stop operating condition. When failure is detected, would you please contact KOBELCO distributor for checking and repair. • Never immerse the sensor in water during work. Should the sensor be immersed, check the auto stop operating condition. If failure is found, contact KOBELCO distributor.

2. Cab interference prevention system (1) Operation When the engine key is turned to ON or START position, the right display appears. And this display indicates the live function of cab interference prevention system. This function is activated every time you turn on the engine key.

3. Movement of “A”, “B” areas (1) Movement of “B” area When attachment is closing to cab, and bucket teeth enter warning area “B”, operator will be noted by intermitted warning buzzer and machine speed will be reduce.

(2) Movement of “A” area. When bucket teeth is closing to stop area “A”, operator will be noted by continuous warning buzzer, and machine is automatically stopped. Warning buzzer will be stopped after 5 seconds.

DEPTH LIMITATION
When the bucket comes close to the preset depth, the operation stops automatically. By making sure of the places where the underground materials are in advance, this system enables work to be done close to gas pipes and water pipes in safety and smoothly. Example of operation When it is necessary to display the digging depth, place the bucket on the flat ground and press the “SET” switch. When machine is “A” position, the digging depth can be recognized by setting the arm top pin position to “0” and reading the indicated value (in “B” position). However, if the bucket is not on the same condition (a=b) as the preset base level, it may be impossible to read the accurate depth. 5) Depth limitation variable setting switch This switch is used to change the value of the “DEPTH” limit, and the limit depth becomes larger at 0.2m intervals by every pressing of the “UP” switch, and becomes smaller at 0.2m intervals by every pressing of the “DOWN” switch.

SK75UR-3E SK130UR-1E 7-4 PROCEDURE TO RELEASE CAB INTERFERENCE PREVENTION FUNCTION
Do not release cab interference prevention switch unless emergency purpose is evident.
Don't fail to place the safety lock lever to "LOCKED POSITION" to bring down the operator seat, or the operator seat is not unlocked. Stop the engine first, then bring the operator's seat down forward and release the interference prevention release switch.

SK75UR-3E SK130UR-1E 7-5 INDICATOR ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE Adjustment is necessary in the following cases. (In this case, indicator means monitor) 1. Replacement of attachment 2. Replacement of angle sensor 3. Replacement of mechatro controller Remove the grommet of mechatro controller and change the internal adjusting switch from "RUN" to "TEST" to store the angle sensor value at the respective stroke end of the boom up, arm in and out, and off-set left and right operations in the mechatro controller. NOTE In case of this adjustment, make sure the position of engine key is OFF.
1) Start the engine. 2) Press the "SET" and "RESET" switch together 5 to 10 seconds.

Display the error of the mechatro controller, etc. * 2. Self-diagnosis display .................... Displays the failure of the I/O system of the mechatro controller such as the low and high pressure sensors, governor motor, proportional valve, angle sensor solenoid valve, etc (43 items) 3. Service diagnosis display ............... Displays the information output by the mechatro controller such as the pressure sensor detection, proportional valve, solenoid valve, etc. (30 items) 4. Trouble history display .................... Stores and displays the contents of the troubles detected though the mechatro self diagnosis. 5. Mechatro "A" adjustment display .... Displays it by procedure during the mechatro "A" adjustment. 6. E/G oil supply cumulative (integrated) time .... Displays the E/G oil supply cumulative time and E/G speed (rpm) list. * 7. Cab interference prevention system ..... When attachment is closing to cab, it will be stopped automatically. In this time, the failure of adjustment and fail of angle sensor are displayed on the self-diagnosis. This cab interference prevention has the following five functions. (1) Cab interference prevention function. (2) Height/Depth display function. (3) Height limitation function. (4) Depth limitation function. (5) Off-set left limitation function. * 8. Electric cushion function ................. The cylinder speeds in the motions of boom up, arm in/out and off-set left are reduced at near the stroke end of cylinder. In this time, the failure of boom & arm angle sensors and solenoid valves errors are displayed in the self-diagnosis. 9. Warning displays ............................. When the machine is normal after self-diagnosis but the actual operation fails. For these displays, refer to the next page. Marks * are displayed in each time of occurrence.

SK75UR-3E . SK130UR-1E TROUBLE HISTORY DIAGNOSIS The error item detected by the self-diagnosis is stored in the mechatro controller as a history and is displayed on the multidisplay.
4) To scroll the page, use the work mode selector switch and the buzzer stop switch.
. Press the work mode selector switch (H), page up. . Press the buzzer stop switch, page down.
(1) How to display 1) Turn the engine key on. 2) Press the buzzer stop switch 5 times in sequence for 10 seconds. (Example) CONTENTS No errors

Note : All the error items are stored by hour meter, when the hour is differed, press the work mode selector switch (H) or the buzzer stop switch, and displays all items and make sure that they are right.
