The following shearing capabilities are based on actual test results or derived from test 'results. A / mark under a given shearing configuration indicates that shearing configuration is capable of shearing the corresponding pipe at some closing pressure equal to or~less than 2800 psi. A *'PL" mark sunder a given shearing configuration indicates~ that shearing is not possible due to the 2800 psi l~imit on remaining operating pressure available to shear. After a few stack functions, the average remaining operating system pressure is.2800 psi. Cameron's maximum recommended BOP operating pressure is 3000 A "GL" mark under a given shearing configuration psi. indicates that shearing is not possible since the width of the sheared pipe exceeds the width of the shear ,ram blade.
