October, 20, 2015 Letter of recommendation for Muhammad Bilal It gives me great pleasure to recommend Muhammad Bilal for Chevening Scholarship. I have been Mr.Bilal academic advisor since his freshman year and been also the advisor for his honors thesis. Over the years, I have come to know his extremely well and feel that he is an outstanding candidate for the Chevening Scholarship. Mr. Bilal is a truly outstanding student who has accumulated a list of both academic honors/achievements and extracurricular activities. He has demonstrated his versatility by participating in sports, fundraisers, and as an officer in a number of organizations. He is a gifted student who combines serious study with a genuine concern for the community in which he lives. I can attest to Mr. Bilal’s maturity and his commitment to his studies. He does his work conscientiously, he always seeks out course work that challenges his, and he has an amazing capacity for fulfilling his responsibilities in a great variety of activities. He is organized in his goal-setting, yet has learned to keep his options open for the future. His accomplishments will no doubt make his a highly recruited individual for the top graduate schools in the country. Intellectually, Mr. Bilal is one of the very best students I have ever worked with. He has the ability to carry out research independently, he is extremely disciplined in his work, his analytical skills are highly developed, and he is always thorough in what he does. I believe that an international exposure would enrich Mr. Bilal immeasurably from a variety of points of view. He would be able to perfect his communication level, he would gain invaluable experience, and, perhaps most importantly, he would acquire insights into the Academic Research that would greatly enhance his future progression. I give Mr. Bilal my highest and unqualified recommendation. He is truly exceptional. Sincerely,

Samnan Ali Lecturer, University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore.
