PREFACE  For the past 7 years, I have always been reluctant to put down in writing my very own Discovery on  Numbers; let alone publish it in the form of a book. I was convinced that the public would think that  they could learn everything there is to know from my book and/or resort to photocopying it, thus  stopping them from attending my training classes to learn more from me. I have come to realize that  such a perception is not right; it is too selfish. Selfishness should not be the overriding concern in the  spread of new knowledge.  Now I see a compelling need to spread this New Discovery to as many people as possible. I am  driven by an overwhelming desire to de‐mystify and revolutionize this "breakthrough", so that many  more would appreciate, practice and benefit from it. And so here it is, you are reading my second  book on the Discovery on Numbers, called "THE POWER OF NUMBERS".  This discovery is the first of its kind in the world! And I am proud to say that I have decoded the  meanings and its symbolic form of NUMBERS and its patterns to a very large extent. Surely,  Metaphysics Science will never be viewed in the same manner again. It is indeed a very new and  unique area of Numerology. On the surface, you may be misled into thinking that since my Discovery  is about Numbers; hence, it is just Numerology. But I must insist that my Discovery of Numbers is  beyond that. The science of Numerology has its limitations whereas my Numbers reveal so much  more mindboggling information. It is powerful and it led me to call it appropriately “THE POWER OF  NUMBERS” to distinguish it from Numerology.  Further, my Discovery is actually a new branch of Human Behavioural Science.  I would like to thank you for getting hold of this book or thank the person who passes this book to  you. See and calculate for yourself how this "POWER OF NUMBERS" could reveal who you really  were, are and will be! The accuracy of this discovery is closed to 90%! I am not able to establish 100%  accuracy. Neither can other metaphysics science. A lot remains in the hands of the GOD ALMIGHTY.  Mere mortals cannot and should not take the role of GOD.  Please keep an open mind when learning this new Discovery. Do put aside all that you have learned  from other metaphysics science so that you can get the maximum benefits from this book.  Happy learning…..    Dr. Oliver Tan PhD May 2012    A word of caution: My Discovery may conflict or rather ‘clash’ with many principles and underlying tenets of  other occult science that are being widely practiced today. I must categorically and unreservedly state that my  Discovery is not intended to offend or defend any of the principles of other Metaphysics Science or the Chinese  Feng Shui like.

WHO ARE WE  We were born into this world and each and every one of us wants to have a happy life and succeed  well. No one wants to drain his or her life out and go through hardship. Happiness and success does  not come easy. We have to work to achieve it. To those who are unfortunate, they blame it on FATE  and their DESTINY. They have been indoctrinated to thinking that way. They have been further  indoctrinated that DESTINY or FATE cannot change. They are not right to think this way and I do not  agree.  DESTINY or FATE cannot change is because one is not able to know his or her own DESTINY or FATE.  So, how to change? BUT, what if something comes to us and shows us our Destiny and Fate in  advance? Can we not take charge to avoid or to correct or subdue the bad unfortunates or mishaps,  if there is any? Of course, we can. Thus, 'Destiny &. Fate’ can change if one knows of it ahead.  In reality, all religions of the world are but the holy com‐passionate and unconditionally loving  education of saints and sages. There is a commonality in the holy text of every religion. In Buddhism,  we call it loving‐kindness. Christians speak of God’s love for mankind. In Islam, we learn of Allah’s  promised compassion from the Holy Quran. From this, it is evident that it is the Almighty’s desire  that we have love and happiness. Where is this 'promised love and happiness’ then? It is right here  in this world and in many forms. NUMBERS is one of the keys to unlocking the DES¬TINY of a person.  The ALMIGHTY gave us, through our parents and HIS influence a Name and a Birth Date.  Our Birth Date, to many occult science, is one of the secrets to unlocking our DESTINY in Life. I must  say that I have decoded the Numbers of our Date of Birth to a very great extent. These Numbers  reveal our destiny ‐ bad and good and our fortunes and our unfortunates. It is then up to us to take a  positive stand towards the other dark side of our destiny. We take charge of our own life!  Pythagoras firmly said: ''The world is built upon the power of numbers. The entire universe is  composed of mathematical patterns and all things can be expressed in numbers, which correspond  to universal vibrations. These numbers determine our personalities, destinies and fortunes of  individuals”  Remember this: We are the Captain of all Captains. We are the Captain of our own souls. We are  the Driver. We drive to where we want to go. We dictate our own destinations. In short, we  dictate our own life.    DR. OLIVER TAN PhD

Metaphysics and occult science were discovered thousands of years ago and many of them are still  practiced till this very day. The most common one is the Chinese geomancy popularly known as  FENG SHUI. The Indians too, have their own version of Feng Shui, called VASHTU. Both have many  similarities and share one common aim to 'check and balance' the environment so as to create  harmonious living. The Christians and the Muslims too have their own systems to harmonize their  environment, especially in ground‐breaking and mosque building, respectively. In his book, ''Feng  Shui and Western Building Ceremonies”, Derham Groves wrote, ''Western ceremonies relating to  turning the first sod, laying a foundation stone, completing the roof‐framing and opening a new  building are quite similar to Feng Shui in form and function. What Western culture does lack is a  person like a geomancer”  Additionally, the Chinese and the Indians have their own method of divination and both lay claims to  the discovery of Astrology. The Chinese have their Purple Star System (Zhi Wei Toh Shu) and face  Reading (Mian Xiang) or physiognomy. These documented texts were found in the Book of I Ching.  Numerology, another form of Divination, is practiced to a lesser extend today but the Indians, by and  at large hold tight to the principles of Numerology.  These occult science are consulted all for the sake of knowing one’s fate and to lie harmoniously  with the environment. I have the deepest respect for all the above amazing discoveries.  My Discovery however, is totally different. I have unlocked and decoded the principles of NUMBERS  to a very great extend. I expounded greatly on the meanings of Numbers and its symbolic form.  By simply taking the Date of Birth of an individual and charting it into an inverted triangle using the  Pythagorean method of calculation, the person’s 'Destiny & Fate’ in almost totality! is revealed in  the Numbers.

This amazing Discovery on Numbers is the first of its kind in the World. The Pythagorean triangle  methodology of calculation is known as the 'Holy Tetraktys’  The Numbers in the ‘Holy Tetraktys’ chart illustrate a series of '”patterns”. From this pattern, a  person’s life is revealed within the 'context and the meanings of the pattern’ of these Numbers.  Indeed, it is a very powerful Discovery of Life. 

  The ‘Holy Tetraktys’  My Discovery on NUMBERS stemmed from interest in research and study of occult science. I took  great pains to go in‐depth and read countless books on Chinese Feng Shui and its many variations,  the Numerology in both Eastern and Western practices, the knowledge of Ibnu Sinnah, the Arabic  Bible of ‘Tajul Muluk’, and the Numbers practiced during the Sumerian age. I spent time seeking out  many Masters and Grand Masters from Taiwan, India and Malaysia about their respective science,  and spent long hours on informal discussions with them.  My relentless pursuit of studies on these various metaphysics and occult science led me to embark  on a long and tedious journey to look for their commonality and differentials from the 'logical and  factual point’ of view.  It soon dawned on me that Numbers are the driving force of all Metaphysics. For thousands of years,  NUMBERS have remained an enigma to humankind. I began to 'toy' around with these numbers. I  see “patterns” & “vibes” in the NUMBERS and more so, from its combination. That was the  Beginning ‐ my journey to decode NUMBERS and affirm its bondage with science.  METAPHYSICS SCIENCE WILL NEVER BE VIEWED IN THE SAME MANNER AGAIN.

CHAPTER 2  THE BEGINNING ‐ HOW IT ALL STARTED & BEGAN  My studies on the various occult sciences began in the early '90s while I was still studying Law at  Bond University in Gold Coast, Australia. The triggering event which had set me off to continue  pursuing occult sciences was an incident which I would never forget and it still lingers at the back of  my head as though it was just yesterday. In July 1991, I was back in Kuala Lumpur for a semester  break; I was home and was frantically packing last minute as I was already running late to catch my  flight back to Australia. My final and third semester exams were just around the corner and I had to  be back as soon as possible. However, whilst I was packing, I had received a telephone call from a  dear friend, Ching*. It was a life changing phone call and one that I would never be able to erase  from my memory. As I answered his telephone call, Ching was speechless and mumbled softly. Soon  his voice started to cackle and crack, he started to breakdown into tears and was emotionally  uncontrollable over the phone. He then gathered himself back together and broke the awful and  painful news to me; he said that our good friend, Lee* had passed away just about five hours ago.  (* To protect the identity of the individuals mentioned, fictitious names instead of their real names  are used)  I was stunned, my mind went blank. My body began to tremble as my limbs went numb. I could not  utter a word, speechless. Ching had to constantly yell my name several times over the phone before  I could regain myself. It felt as though, I had completely departed from my surroundings, as silence  filled the air and the only thoughts that ran through my mind were the fond memories that I had  with Lee.  I regained composure quickly and replied Ching, "Yes I hear you Ching. How did he die?" Ching  replied, "I don’t know but according to his mother he had complained of chest pains and breathing  difficulty early this morning. His family were about to take him to the nearest clinic but it was too  late as he had passed away before they could arrive in time." I was completely at shock and did not  know what to do. Ching understood and explained that I should focus on my exams and that he  would take care of things for me.  Lee had lived an amazing life even though it was rather brief. He was a great friend; he was the kind  of friend who would have stood by you when you need someone. Lee had worked for me as a  printing technician and was only 23 years old. He was known for his toughness and robust nature.  His passing was an absolute mystery and was not easy for me to swallow. I could not believe it, I  refused to believe it initially but it slowly sank in after a while. To me, his death was so sudden and  he died under mysterious circumstances with no apparent reason. His death still lingers at the edge  of my mind until this very day. The night before Lee’s death, we were together along with a few  other friends in Klang, the royal town of Selangor. We were indulging in a lively session of drinks; Lee,  Ching and the others were laughing endlessly as I entertained them with my beer jokes. The next  thing I knew, barely even after ten hours we parted, Lee was gone. I could not accept his death; I had  lost not only a staff, but a great friend. That day on, I realised how fragile life is, that all of us are  merely hanging by a tread as our place on Earth is not permanent, anything can happen at any time.  We should never take our lives for granted, we should learn how to appreciate GOD’s gift of life to

us and live to the fullest with no regrets. Instead we should look towards the future, not neglecting  our past.  My journey to the airport was one filled with thoughts. My mind was filled with questions, as I kept  asking myself; ’How did he die? He had no illnesses and always looks healthy. Why? How come?  What could have caused his death?’ A thought suddenly arose at the spur of the moment; I  questioned myself whether it was possible that his enemies had charmed him? Or could he be the  victim of a hex cast by spirits which he may have unknowingly offended? As irrational or illogically  they may sound, these were the conclusions that came to thought. This event had further aroused  my curiosity towards the study of occult sciences. It had motivated me to push forward to uncover  the co‐relations of occult science and cause of death of Lee.  Before this, I was never a believer in metaphysic science. I had no knowledge in regards to Feng Shui,  Palm Reading, Physiognomy or Numerology. I was clueless that such branches of metaphysic science  were capable of revealing the Destiny of a person. Whilst at the airport, I was still troubled and my  mind was not at ease with the thought of Lee’s death racing through my head. I proceeded into a  book store inside the airport terminal in hopes of helping to drift my mind away from the  unfortunate event. However, it felt as though it was fate, I came across a section labelled Oriental  Interests. There was a wide array of books neatly arranged on the shelves. Of the variety presented  to me on a platter, I decided to choose Feng Shui.  I bought my first book on Feng Shui and tried to piece the missing links which were running through  my thoughts.丨 attempted to determine whether there was a substantial relation between Feng  Shui and the death of Lee. The Feng Shui book that I purchased was not an ordinary one but of a  different kind, titled 'Black Hat Tantric Feng Shui’ by Sarah Rossbach.  Thinking that the book would provide me with clues to the mysterious death of my friend, however  it failed to give me any answers. I was determined to dig further; I went on a frenzy purchasing  dozens of books on various fields of metaphysic science. After much reading, to my amazement I  was fascinated with the intricacy of this occult science. It further stimulated and sparked interest  and became a driving force for me to further research into this spell binding field of studies. I studied  a diversity of metaphysic science ranging from the Indian Numerology, the Kabbalah secrets, the  Flying Star Feng Shui up to the Western Numerology, Names and its meaning. I explored by  juxtaposing the teachings of several Masters of various metaphysics science but in the end, it  appeared as though my efforts had ended up in vain. I never came close to unravelling the mystery  of Lee’s sudden and untimely death. However, the readings and discussion I had did not go to waste,  it had indeed deepened my horizon of knowledge on occult science. I became a ’walking dictionary’  as far as Feng Shui and Numerology were concerned.  (In 2001, the Founder of this Black Hat Tantric Feng Shui, one Ling Yun admitted that his discovery has no basis but merely a  phenomenon and his personal intuition theory. Till this very day, many are still practicing the ''Black Hat Tantric Feng Shui"  in the US.)

THE TURNING POINT  In 2002, I was introduced to a group of very young so‐called masters in their late 20’s and early 30’s  who are supposedly specialists in various occult science. The two ’founders’ of a unique discovery  had presented to me several documents on numerology which explained briefly the meanings of  single numbers and several number combinations.  The ‘founder’ took my date of birth and using an unusual methodology of calculations he charted a  diagram which illustrated all the numbers added together and then referred to the Numerology  documents for its interpretations. My character, personality, traits, misfortunes as well as illnesses  were all revealed. The ‘co‐founder’ then charted out my ‘good’ directions identifying which one  would complement me. Although, the information provided was scant, but the precision and  accuracy was fascinating. Never, before had I come across such accurate revelations of my life.  I questioned on their source of this amazing knowledge, but was snubbed rather arrogantly that they  had discovered it. I was in awe and impressed that I requested if they would share this discovery  with me. I expressed my utmost desire to refine their discovery into a unique metaphysic science  that would be accessible to the public as a course. They were initially sceptical as to how this  discovery would be taught as a course but relented much later after much negotiation.  Before I could start teaching, I knew I had to compile and provide logical explanations and sense of  this new discovery. Only then, I would be able to replicate it into a teaching module which would be  easily understood by the public. I relied heavily on these two ‘founders’ of this discovery in  enlightening me how this discovery came about and why each number had a specific interpretation.  As they claimed to be 'founders' of this discovery, I hasted not and took time to question and prod  them with my abundant queries. However, to my dismay and disbelief they were unable to support  and substantiate the meaning of each of the Numbers and their derivatives. The two 'founders’ were  not even able to explain the origins of the Numbers and what more the significance of each and  every Number. They had failed to provide me with a logical interpretation of the history and  authenticity of the meaning of the Numbers. It was then when I realised that I may have actually  been caught up in a hurricane of deception and the two ‘founders’ may not have made the discovery  as claimed.  I was determined to take up the challenge to impart knowledge of this discovery to others.  Furnished with only a 4‐page document, I strived to attain success. I dove in deep into solitary  research, and as my tedious research continued I stumbled upon an unusual triangle methodology of  calculating the date of birth as illustrated by these so‐called young ‘masters and founders’. I faltered  into this while reading a book entitled The Book of Numerology, by Hal A. Lingerman. The triangle  which beholds the numbers is actually a Phythagorean triangle known as the ‘Holy Tetractys’. I spent  most every waking moment immersing myself in research of these numbers. My life was consumed  by unwavering determination to decode the true meaning of these Numbers. I scoured libraries and  bookstores for more books to fuel my research as well as to quench my thirst for knowledge. I burnt  the midnight oil almost every night, reading and browsing the internet to supplement my research. I  have read almost everything there is to know about the philosophies and works of the Greek  Mathematician, Pythagoras as well as the underlying principles behind the Lo Shu and HeTu  formulae in classical Chinese Feng Shui. After four solid years of confining and dedicating my life

towards this research, finally I am able to comprehend its origin, history at the same time finding  logical distinctions and interpretations of Numbers.  As I delve further into my research and study, all the information began to fall in place and a  revelation occurred easily. A simple analogy would be a person trying to balance on a bicycle for the  first time and finally being able to balance and ride it. I too had my own struggles in understanding  and comprehending certain concepts until I found the right balance. My passion for this research  intensified as I began to discover many more various Number patterns and combinations within the  diagram.  These patterns appear to reveal certain unforeseen circumstances such as types of illness, mishaps  and misfortunes such as accidents and major operations. Other elements such as failure in business  and mental problems alongside with unnatural passing became easier to recognize.  My journey of research has not been an easy one, it was one filled with ups and downs as well as  obstacles. At one point, I had to plea with medical practitioners to provide me a list of their patients’  along with their date of birth and area of sickness. This was due to the patient confidentiality that is  usually kept among medical practitioners in order to maintain a standard of professionalism. These  doctors were reluctant and hesitant to hand over the private details of their patients, but in the end  I was presented with the date of birth of patients but without their names. From there, I applied my  discovery and methodology on the given date of births.  Soon, I observed a significant link and pattern of Numbers which certain patients with that particular  sickness would possess. It was an astounding find and I was amazed myself. In order to confirm the  efficacy and reliability of those patterns, I cross referred them with other doctors and their patients  from different hospitals. I was able to pin point and narrow down the range of sickness a patient has,  merely by charting out the date of birth. These medical practitioners were baffled with the precision  of the Numbers and how it was able to diagnose and narrow down a patient’s illness without even a  cursory inspection!  However, my research did not stop there; instead I continued to research and went beyond. I  attempted to collect date of birth of criminals from the police force of various states throughout the  country. I then stumbled upon a new distinct pattern which was explicit to me. I observed a new  pattern whereby criminals and murderers would have their own set of respective pattern of  Numbers.  As time went by, things took a grim and ghastly turn for me. I would observe the obituary section of  the newspaper every morning and seek the date of birth of the deceased. I would then calculate  their date of birth and to my surprise there were again corresponding number patterns which  charted up to over 80% in similarity. I gathered countless date of birth of deceased people from the  hospital and reaffirmed my discovery of the number patterns in relation to their death. Although this  research may have taken up to four years, it was worth every blood, sweat and tears shed as it is  truly remarkable and astounding find that kept me at awe till this very day. I am proud to say that I  am the Discoverer and Pioneer of these Numbers, and I have successfully decoded many gray and  ambiguous areas in a person’s date of birth.

Until this very day, I still proceed with my research because this discovery is truly an amazing form of  science; it is an evolving science of Numbers yet to reach its climax. I assert my belief that one day;  the Numbers may be a catalyst and essential ingredient in elucidating the evolving pattern of human  existence on earth. My research stems from analysis of the over 400,000 birth dates. I have  successfully gathered empirical data and statistical evidence which have proven to be substantial in  pursue of my research.  Throughout my discovery and research, my only lament is that I have not been able to determine the  time of occurrence of these events, misfortunes and mishaps. I was only able to decode the  occurrence of such events but unable to determine 'When' it may occur. I can only surmise and infer  from what I have gathered, that such knowledge may never be uncovered. The ALMIGHTY GOD is  and always will be the Ruler that govern and dictate our lives.  After decoding the enigma of these numbers, I have only one objective which is to help as many  people as possible, I would like to reach out and lend a helping hand to all. I strongly believe that  with this discovery of mine, I would be able to help people to uncover their destiny at the same time  help to better their lives. My discovery would provide a better comprehension of individuals in terms  of their character as well as a caution for unfortunate events which may occur. This would aid  people by creating awareness in them at the same time aiding them in taking charge of their own  lives to influence and improve the future.

CHAPTER 3  WHAT IS NUMEROLOGY?  Numerology is a science, the systematic analysis of the mystical influence of numbers on human life.  Every number has its vibrations, meaning, characteristics and influence. We are all born on a specific  year, month, day, hour and minute into the earth’s field of energy. The conditions and vibrations of  that energy field will determine our actions and reactions. In short, our lives are conditioned by the  basic set of vibrations that were active when we took our first breath.  There are many forms of Numerology of which the major forms worth mentioning are the Kabbalah,  the Chaldean and the Pythagorean. Modern Numerology is based on Pythagorean and Kabbalistic  principles whereas Western Numerology is based on Pythagorean principles.  Kabbalah is an ancient text on Jewish mysticism and occult lore. It tries to explain a connection  between our apprehension of things as facts of experience and the cosmic laws, which underlie  those facts. Unlike other ancient systems of Numerology which limits their study to the influence of  Numbers 1‐9, the Jewish or the Hebrew Kabbalah extends the interpretation of numbers to 11, 22,  33, linking these with the twenty‐two letters of the Hebrew alphabet. Kabbalah, which means  knowledge that comes through the mind and soul, interprets only the meaning of names. It was  developed for the Hebrew alphabet and therefore has double vibrations. Today, a New Kabbalah has  emerged. It is based on names and relies on the Pythagorean method to determine time periods.  The New Kabbalah is more concerned with events rather than character.  The Chaldean numerology on the other hand combines Kabbalistic name interpretation with aspects  of astrology. The Chaldean numerology originated in Ancient Babylon (now Iraq). In Chaldean  Numerology, compound numbers are always used. Single digits represent the outer aspects of the  person while double digits influence the inner aspects. Pythagoras, a Greek mathematician who lives  in the 6th century B.C, developed the Pythagorean method. Like the Chaldean method, the  Pythagorean method analyzes both name and birth and the interaction between the two. There is a  less common form of Numerology called the Abracadabra systems of numbers. It is based on the  subject’s name and uses a series of triangles to arrive at numerical values that provide information  about character and events.  My self‐discovered NUMBERS  My own Discovery on Numbers relates all the various Numerology principles mentioned above but  only to a lesser extent. My Discovery on Numbers has deeper meaning than Numerology, per say. As  such, on the outside, it has traces of the Principles of Numerology as the name suggested, but I must  insist that my discovery is more than just Numerology. Therefore I have named my Discovery, the  'POWER OF NUMBERS’. I feel justified in calling it so.  Numbers are the ultimate tool for intuition and meaning in our daily lives. It is not that you have  cracked the mysteries of existence, but the UNKNOWN is no longer to be feared. Once you know the  UNKNOWN and are aware of what lies ahead, you can take steps to avoid harm. You can take steps  towards the correct path into harmony and harmony is happiness.

CHAPTER 4  A TRIBUTE TO PYTHAGORAS ‐ "FATHER OF MODERN NUMEROLOGY"  Pythagoras was born on the island of Samos in Greece in the 6th century. There was nothing much  written about his early life but his adulthood saw him traveling extensively throughout the Southern  Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. It was believed that he lived and studied in Egypt. Later he  taught Mathematics, Astronomy and Music.  As a teacher, he was respected and feared. Many considered him a dangerous man. He started to  teach Numbers and he asserts that Numbers have Vibrations and it affects our well‐being. Many  were skeptical about his teaching and he was deemed to be teaching something spiritual or some  occult of sorts. More often, he has been condemned with his teachings. In an attempt to safeguard  his school, his students were sworn to secrecy and were not allowed to write anything down. All the  more, the people firmly believed his teaching is something of a cult or some kind of spiritual which is  not right with the religions practiced that time.  Pythagoras lived almost a hundred years and he died when his school was attacked and burned to  the ground.  Today, all secondary school students must learn the Pythagoras Theorem! Certainly, he is held in the  highest regard as one of pre‐eminent Mathematicians of all time. It was his passion for learning, for  truth, and for the discovery of grace and harmony in all aspects of life that sets him apart from other  philosophers. 

  The Chinese, Japanese, Greek, Hebrews, Egyptians, early Christians, Mayans, Indians all employed  some form of numerology to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and the universe but the  Pythagorean system is among the most enduring and popular of all self‐help methods ever created.  Pythagoras wrote that Numbers set a limit to the limitless, that Numbers constitute the true nature  of things and that all concepts can be expressed in Numbers. He elaborated the qualities and relative  relationships between each of the 9 numbers and, as such, became the 'Father of Modern  Numerology’.

    The practice of Numerology is based upon the firm statement of Pythagoras, ''The world is built  upon the power of numbers. The entire universe is composed of mathematical patterns, and all  things can be expressed in numbers, which correspond to universal vibrations. These numbers  determine our personalities, destinies and fortunes of individual".  Everything in the universe vibrates at its own frequency. By finding the vibration rate of any object  you can establish the qualities and energies associated with it. By applying the principles of numbers  and using the birth date as the basic data, you can determine the major frequencies of different  people. A numerological analysis of the calculated frequencies provides significant information on  these people's personalities and characters.

There are a wide array of books which talk on Numerology and Numbers; however these books may  differ greatly from what my research explains. Majority of the books may have diverse meanings and  symbolism in terms of other interpretations of numbers. Some of the examples are such as; the  number ‘1’ is independent and illustrates leadership traits or the number ’6’ is associated with  completeness while the number ‘8’ being a symbolism of prosperity. There may be some truth in  these interpretations, however there has always been lack of explanation to how these numbers  come about and there seem to be insufficient evidence to substantiate these readings.  My research stems from expounding the Numbers and contrasting the diverse interpretations of  Numbers from various occult science and authors. From there I seek and observe a commonality  between the various interpretations and representations and finally sum up a symbolic meaning of a  wholly individual Number. For example, the number ‘1’ being the first and ‘9’ being the last. I would  seek to determine the implications and justifications for why such numbers are in such order or  arrangement. I would then exemplify such justifications and transition them into symbolic meanings.  I have also incorporated pictorial aspects in my research in terms of deriving the symbolism of  Numbers. An example would be the number ‘7’, given thought, it actually resembles a walking stick  or a cane thus it would be safe to conclude that ‘7’ may also represent immobility and reliance on a  walking aid such as wheel chair as walking sticks are uncommon today. Another example would be  the number ‘1’ which may represent a straight sharp object which looks like a dangerous weapon.  Therefore, the idea of it being a sharp object like a knife suggests that possessors of the number ‘1’  may attract a lot of back stabbing.  It may appear that my research of Numbers seems awkward but some do find it interesting because  I always substantiate my research with a logical rationale. I believe my research of Numbers and its  symbolism has its truth, but not without flaw. There will always be a gap or margin for error, as  attaining perfection is almost impossible but I strongly believe the success of my research has  allowed the unveiling of truth to a great extent.

THE NUMBER ONE  From the numbers 1 to 9,1 is the first number. It is the beginning as there is no other number before  ‘1’. The number ‘0’ may come before the number ‘1’ however it does not bear any significant value  thus carrying to symbolic meaning.  Since ‘1’ is the first number, it is alone and unaccompanied; there are no other numbers besides ’1’  as it is the start. This therefore suggests that loneliness governs the number ‘1’ and that this number  illustrates being alone.  The number ‘1’ further suggest independence. Due to the fact that it depicts alone; it would suggest  loneliness and isolation. As a result of isolation, there still has to be survival and this can only come  about if it depends on itself.  Furthermore, the number ‘1’ is the first of all numbers; every subsequent number such as 2, 3, and 4  comes only after 1. This may invoke that the number ‘1’ itself denotes leadership. The number ‘1’  has to lead before ‘2’ or ‘3’ can come forward as the number '1’ is the beginning and the commencer.  Therefore, the number ‘1’ usually portrays leadership qualities.  However, there is a negative side that there is usually loneliness although there is independence and  leadership. As a result of this leadership, there is a likelihood of attracting backstabbers and jealousy  is usually the culprit and main cause of back stabbing.  To further substantiate the rationale behind the number ‘1’； the first human being that the  ALMIGHTY GOD created was a man named Adam. Adam was all alone in the Garden of Eden hence  the alignment of the number ‘1’ to denote man or masculinity. The number ‘1’ is a predominantly  male number.  Summary:  •

THE NUMBER TWO  The number ‘2’ is second in line and comes after the number ‘1’.  With the appearance of the number ‘2’, the number ‘1’ is no longer sole and alone; it now has a  companion and this represents the presence of two matters or two things.  This duality usually cannot be the same and there has to be a significant difference. The number ‘2’  is the opposite of ‘1’ as it is no longer denotes individualism but instead suggests dualism; there is  always a choice to be made with the number ‘2’ as there are now options and no longer like the  number ‘1’. Therefore, the number ‘2’ is deemed to be an indecisive number.  The number ‘2’ also represents communication and vocal abilities. In other word, ‘2’ may suggest a  talkative nature and may somehow be unable to conceal certain things to them. The understanding  towards why ‘2’ is such, is because we usually think before we speak, as how ‘1’ comes before ‘2’.  There is always a thought before speech, hence the relation of the number ‘2’ with being talkative.  As mentioned earlier, ‘2’ opposes ‘1’ and is referred to as the opposite sex. In a relationship, the two  partners show affection and are soft spoken towards one another. The number ‘2’ being a pre  dominantly female number is associated to being soft hence giving the explanation that ‘2’ is soft  hearted.  GOD created the second human which was a woman to be with Adam. GOD saw that Adam was  alone and could do with a companion; therefore he created a woman and named her Eve. The  second human was a woman hence the derivative of the number ‘2’ and a woman's number.  Summary:  •

THE NUMBER THREE  The number ‘3’ is third in line after ‘1’ and ‘2’. It is the result of the addition of ‘1’ and ‘2’ together; 1  +2 = 3. Therefore the characteristics of ‘3’ are the combinations of ‘1’ and ‘2’. The number ‘3’ has a  very mixed character and this suggests ‘3’ being temperamental and having a quick temper.  Following that, it is impatient as ‘3’ is a very fast number and does things in a fast pace. It would  normally take up to three days for a task or job to be completed and that itself is considered a fast  job already. In a race, the referee would count '1, 2, 3’ and the runners would take off after the  hearing of number ‘3’. Furthermore, the number ‘3’  is deemed to be aggressive in nature.  On the other hand, ‘3’ may also symbolise as a triangle as a triangle has three points or vertices. It is  a triad, and being a whole number as it contains the beginning, middle and the end. It is universal  and it is the tripartite of the world as heaven, earth and water. Transposed in a literal sense to  humans; it is the body, soul and spirit. In addition, GOD wants us to love HIM with three things; with  our heart, mind and soul.  Amongst most Christians, there is a belief in the Godhead or the Trinity which encompasses of 3;  GOD, JESUS CHRIST and HOLY SPIRIT (the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit). Most spiritual  phenomena come in the form of tri or three and thus the number ‘3’ is closely associated with  spirituality.  It may appear contradictory and contrasting that the number ‘3’ denotes impatience and temper but  at the same time spirituality but there is actually in fact no conflict.  Summary:  •

THE NUMBER FOUR  The Chinese in particular never like or favour the number ‘4’. Within the context of the Cantonese  dialect, it means death. This has somehow influences many people especially the Chinese people.  Many buildings in Asia would opt not to have a 4th floor, instead they would rename the 4th floor as  3A floor or they would just skip the 4th floor and proceed to the 5th floor. Certain lifts of buildings  would also sometimes omit to have the ‘4’ on the button. However, this perception is wrong and  does not do justice for the number ‘4’.  Given enough though, the number ‘4’ actually represents stability. It is steadfast, as there are four  legs to a chair as there are to a table and are usually very stable.  It is also a symbol of measurement as there are four sides in a square. Furthermore, the number ‘4’  denotes many other things such as; four arms to a cross, four quarters of the earth, four seasons,  four winds and four main directions. It is the number of foundations, grounding and systems ‐ law  and order. It is spatial in scheme and order in manifestation hence the number ‘4’ depicts planning.  In the Kabbalah system of the Jews, the number ‘4’ illustrates memory. Therefore ‘4’ also denotes  intelligence which conjures up to wisdom. A food for thought; have you ever wondered why  graduates wear the square mortarboard? To the Chinese it is commonly known as 'sei fong mo’  which is translated as four sided hat. It actually has its meaning, and it is clear now that, the hat  which has four sides usually worn by graduates denotes that a person possesses intelligence.  Summary:  •

5  THE NUMBER FIVE  In general the number ‘5’ is not a very favourable number as it links more negative rather than  positive. The number ‘5’ is the mid‐point of the cycle of numbers 1 to 9. It is in between and the  centre of everything; it is halfway. The position of ‘5’ which is in the centre therefore provides the  option whether to continue or discontinue a matter or a journey. These choices and options are  crucial and always subject to change. In a positive sense, it is said that the number ‘5’ represents  adaptation and at the same time is able to resort to any conformity whenever required.  However, the negative side of the number ‘5’ is that it is neither here nor there since it is halfway in  between the numbers 1 to 9. Due to this fact, the number ‘5’ may at times be easily agitated which  results in stubbornness.  Furthermore, the number ‘5’ is the intermediate number and it can choose to return towards the  beginning or towards the end. The number ‘5’ is furnished with the options of choosing sides; good  or bad it is within the beholder of the number ‘5’. Therefore, ‘5’ is deemed to be manipulative which  may be constructive or destructive.  The number ‘5’ may also be termed as a cross road in life as it is in the middle of 1 to 9. As a result of  coming to a cross road, it may be held that ‘5’ is indeed a busy number because at a cross road,  there is always difficulty in deciding which would be the better path.  There is also an illustration of a mixed identity when it comes to the number ‘5’. This is because of  the manipulative nature and at the same time it is subject to changes even though there is always a  busy cause searching for the future. The number ‘5’ is itself a depiction of an obstacle, where it is  difficult to decide due to the fluctuation of circumstances.  The ability of the number ‘5’ to adapt thus adding on to the negativity as such adaptation may lead  to being spoilt for choice. In accordance to the Hebrew’s Kabala system, the number ‘5’ is referred to  as fear.  Summary:  •

6  THE NUMBER SIX  The other numbers pale in comparison to ‘6’ in terms of productivity. It has a symbolic meaning of  the union of polarity. Looking at the Star of David, it consists mainly of two triangles which when  observed has a total of six points and the intertwining of these triangles bear significant meanings  respectively. The triangle which is upright pointing upwards represents male, fire element and the  Heaven. As for the triangle which is inverted and points downwards, it signifies female, water  element and the earth. Therefore when intertwined together, procreation exists.  In the Christendom world, the number ‘6’ represents completion as there were six days of creation  by GOD. Since ‘6’ is a second beginning (after ‘5’ ‐ the second half of 1 to 9 begins), ‘6’ can be termed  as the second new creation. The word which would best describe ‘6’ is procreation which means  reproduction of life as the number ‘6’ suffices in terms of vibe and energy to produce children.  Having children means starting a family, and therefore the number ‘6’ is deemed to be family  oriented.  In the context of the Chinese word, 'Loke Fook' means six happiness’ or 'six joys'. This Chinese word  is much sought after as people believe that it brings wealth and fortune. The number ‘6’ is usually  the winning number when rolling dice in gambling game as it is the highest number on a dice.  Therefore, the number ‘6’ represents wealth.  Summary:  •

7  THE NUMBER SEVEN  It is said to be the highest form of wisdom. According to the Buddhist philosophy, the number ‘7’ is  the number of ascent and of ascending to the highest possible form or level. The seven steps of  Buddha symbolise the ascent of the seven cosmic stages transcending time and space. In addition to  that, the seven storey prasada at Borobudur is a sacred mountain and axis mundi reaching the realm  of Buddha.  Following the context of the Holy Bible, GOD rained the earth for forty days and forty nights and  finally the Ark of Noah rested on the 7th month and in addition, the dove was sent out after seven  days. Therefore, the number ‘7’ is regarded to be lucky.  The number ‘7’ also held to be universal as there are, 7 ages of man, 7 rays of the sun, 7 colours in a  rainbow and 7 wonders of the World. It is proven that the number 7 is so significant and universal to  almost every aspect of our lives and it cannot be of mere coincidence of such occurrence.  The number ‘7’ also portrays compassion and helpfulness, hence the attraction of support.  According to the Chinese Lunar Calendar, the 7th day of the Chinese New Year is 'Yan Yat’ which  means ‘everybody's birthday’. Therefore, it strongly suggests that ‘7’ means many people and is  indeed a number representing network.  Summary:  •

8  THE NUMBER EIGHT  The number ‘8’ has been more than often interpreted based on different perspectives in many  occult sciences. The Chinese love and adore the number ‘8’. The resonance of ‘8’ in most of the  Chinese dialects sounds ‘Fatt’ which means prosperity. However, in the actual reality and based on  research, the number ‘8’ is not as favourable as one would think it is and is not a suitable portrait of  prosperity.  When writing the number ‘8’, the strokes of the number are such that it winds, turns, curves and  then winds again. The writing of '8' is different from the writing of other numbers. A written ‘8’  would appear as long and winding when compared to other numbers. As a result, the number ‘8’  represents stress.  However, on a positive note, regardless of how long the journey of writing an ‘8’ is, it will always end  where it began. Thus the number ‘8’ goes back to where it came from, its origin and its home.  Therefore, the number ‘8’ denotes responsibility in that sense. Furthermore, the number ‘8’ is also  associated with the symbol of infinity when it is placed horizontally. This illustrates that ‘8’ is always  searching for something, always busy seeking for that something but without knowledge. The search,  the busyness continues but not knowing what is to be found results in pressure. Therefore the  number ‘8’ is also a representation of pressure.  Summary:  •

9  THE NUMBER NINE  There is not much to be said of the number ‘9’ as it is the last number from 1 to 9. It could be  regarded as 'home' as it is the finish line of the journey of 1 to 9. There is equilibrium in this number  in the sense that there is nothing really bad or negative. The number ‘9’ is composed of the all‐ powerful 3 x3. It is complete in the triple triad and is the last number of 1 through 9. It is the ending,  where the journey of life is complete. In other words, it denotes success.  Where there is success it usually comes about from business, therefore the number ‘9’ is often  associated as business icons. It is inevitable and undeniable that almost all successful people in  business are never content with what they have. They always desire for more and this is where  greed tends to play in. Therefore the number ‘9’ also represents greed.  Summary:  •

CHAPTER 7  HOW DO YOU CALCULATE  In the basic mathematical calculation used in Numerology, the numbers are added together in order  to reduce it to a single digit.  Example:  16 is thus done 1 + 6 = 7. The single digit is 7. 1977 is thus done, l + 9 + 7 + 7 = 24. Further 2 + 4 = 6.  The single digit is 6.  The practice and calculations of numerology is such that all numbers are reduced to a single digit.  We shall use this Greek/Western method to calculate in our methodology.

CHAPTER 12  CONTRADICTIONS & CONTROVERSIES

      You may think you find some contradictions or controversies as you read your LIFE PATH. For  example, you may come across your traits that say:‐  “If you are busy seeking business opportunities, be careful as it may end up in vain” or “often you  will go round in circles searching for the right business”. And then there is another line that says:  “Your investment will yield handsome return” or “Your investment will lead to success.”  I would like to stress that these are not contradictions. You actually will experience all that are  written. You may fail in business on one hand but on the other hand, you may succeed in another  business or venture. This is what it means.  Remember: All successful men have failures in some other business before.  Again, you may come across:‐ “Your supporters will give you pressure” and another line that says,  “Your supporters will help you.”  It simply means you have good and bad supporters. You should not view these traits as  contradicting.  HEALTH CONCERNS in Chapter 21.  Your HEALTH concerns should be viewed positively. The sickness/illness listed, does not mean that  you will have all the mentioned sickness/illness. Either 1 or 2 may befall you.  Remember that serious illness does not come to you just like that. Cancerous illness has to take  years to develop before one is diagnosed with cancer. Regular health checks will ensure early  detection. Regular health checks really help. Take charge of your health. Eat right, sleep well and  regular exercise is good.  DIRECTIONS in Chapter 22.  Allow me to explain Your Directions ‐ Wealth, Luck & Success. You would need to use a compass to  determine where North or South is, or where North East is and so forth.  Assuming your Wealth Direction is in the South. Take a compass and go South. From anywhere, you  can take the compass reading. It can be from your office, your home or from any place. Just take the  compass bearing and go South.

CHAPTER 13  THE THEORIES OF CHINESE PHILOSOPHY  What are the factors that affect the well‐being of a person? The Chinese discovered the answers  millenniums ago. They can be grouped into 5 categories  They are:  1.

  Destiny  It is true that everyone is born with a purpose. Everyone is born to fulfil a destiny. Assigning a pre‐set  destiny to each individual is the Creator’s way of governing the world and managing people. Then,  you may ask, why can’t God assign a good destiny to everyone and make sure our life is easier? Why  do people have to suffer? The fact is, destiny is also governed by the divine law of cause and effect.  That is to say, if you sow the seeds of benevolence by doing good things, you will reap the benefits.  Remember that what you sow, you will reap. For that reason, one should neither harbour harmful  thoughts nor do harmful things. There will be a bad repercussion ‐ the law of cause and effect.  The Destiny concept can be best explained by comparing it to a computer. When a computer is  manufactured, it is only a dumb machine. It cannot do anything until you install an operating system  into it. The computer is like your body and the operating system is your thinking mind that has the  processing power. After the operating system is installed, you can do a few basic things with your  computer. You can do simple typing and calculations and that’s about it. Not very productive, isn’t it?  To make your computer more productive, you need to install the other applications. If you want to  do reports, store records on database and do presentation slides, you need to install Office Suite. If  you want to manipulate graphics, you need an application such as Adobe Photoshop. The good news  is that the Creator pre‐installed the application for you. The pre‐installation application is your  Destiny. The Creator knows what you need to do; the Creator uses Destiny as a blueprint for your life  so that you will be a useful member of society.  In the case of human being, a person’s destiny is pre‐set when the baby takes its first breath. When a  baby takes the first breath, its destiny is pre‐set by the earth Qi at the moment in time. That’s why  fortune tellers ask for your birthday before they can foretell your fortune. They want the birthday to  determine the earth energy pattern. Once identified then, they will know what you are destined to  do.  As a user of the computer, you decide what you want your computer to do. The manufacturers make  things easier for you by pre‐installing operating systems and certain commonly used applications. If  you decide that the preinstalled programs are not good enough, you may take full control of your

computer and decide what other applications you need to install into the computer to complete the  task you want to accomplish.  The sad thing is that many people are not computer literate; they do not know how to do the  installation and they don’t care to find out. So, for these people, their destiny is the applications that  God has pre‐installed for them. You are responsible for your own life and destiny, and if you don’t  take control of these, someone else will.  Luck  Luck acts in a very mysterious manner. When it is with you, you seem to be unstoppable. When it is  not with you, despite what you do, you will get into trouble. Do you agree that when luck us,  everything is going our way and when luck is not with us, everything is against us? Luck seems to be  a mysterious spell of which we cannot have enough. But what exactly is luck?  Luck is the combination of the earth energy (Qi) and your energy (Qi) at a certain time. You don’t  have control over the earth’s Qi; the earth’s Qi is governed by the star constellations. But you have  control over your own Qi. According to the E=mc2 Formula by Albert Einstein, Energy and Matter are  interchangeable under certain condition. That means, when we increased our Energy (Qi), we will  increase our luck which in turn will increase the chances of manifesting thought to its physical  equivalence.  Feng Shui  Feng Shui is the study of how the energy (electromagnetic field) from our surrounding environment  affects us. The planet Earth itself is a giant magnet and it has its own magnetic field. The interaction  of the Earth with the Sun, the Moon and other planets in the solar system shapes the Earth’s  electromagnetic field. When the Qi is not balance, disaster strikes. This is when earthquakes,  tornados, droughts and floods occur.  Can someone still do well without having good Feng Shui? The answer is yes. However, it is not  advisable. It simply takes too much of your energy to fight with bad Feng Shui. It is an uphill battle.  Having a bad Feng Shui is like trying to hide a balloon under the water. The buoyancy wants to force  the balloon out of the water but you want to keep the balloon in the water. It requires your full  attention. When your attention is elsewhere, the balloon will quickly surface like hell let loose. It is  simply not worth the trouble.  Charity ‐ Merits  Some people are born with bad destiny. However, they can harmonize the bad destiny by involving  themselves in charity work. By helping others, they are paying back their debts. Just like a bankrupt  person, after paying all the debts, the person can have a normal life again. If the lesson has been  learned and the mistakes not repeated, the person can even have a prosperous life.  You can donate your time or your money to help people who need it. The intention has to be  genuine. If your involvement in any charity work has any personal agenda, you won’t be able to  change your destiny. The Creator knows what you are doing and He keeps excellent records. You can  run, but you can’t hide. One day, He will catch up with you.

Education  Education is a nation’s future. It is sad to say that the education policy of most nations only produces  workers and not leaders. When the British had colonies all over the world, they needed the local  people to help them to manage the natural resources. So, the East India Company set up schools to  train people to do clerical work. It was proven to be successful. People were doing their jobs as  expected. The British government then took over the schools and used the schools to educate its  citizens so that they could become productive members of the society. With the implementation of  public education, the British became strong and created an empire where the sun never set.  Just like education can change the course of a nation, it can also change the course of a person too.  Education is a way for you to change the destiny. Those who were born in ghettoes can also become  productive members of the society once they receive proper education. They don’t have to live their  entire lives in the ghettoes. An educated person is like a computer with many application software. It  can perform many tasks. By educating yourself with specialised skills, you are the master of your  destiny.  In ancient times, only the wealthy and the elite had the privilege to be educated. So, ruling the  education factor out, a fortune‐teller could determine a person’s destiny with pinpoint accuracy.  Nowadays, with so many other factors in conflict, a fortune‐teller’s “power” is not as strong as it  used to be. When you consult a fortune‐teller, you can use it as a reference. But, don’t take it too  seriously.  The Zen master  A long time ago, there was a Zen Master. When the students asked questions, he had the answers.  Determined to challenge the Master, a student wanted to find a question that the Master couldn’t  answer. Day and night, he masterminded many tough questions but the Zen Master answered them  all. One day on the way to school, he saw a wounded bird falling from the nest. As he climbed the  tree, a thought flashed into his mind and instead, he climbed down the tree and brought the bird  with him to school.  When he saw Zen Master, he asked the Zen Master, ''Dear Zen Master, can you tell me if the bird in  my hand is alive or dead?” Then, he smiled since he was very confident that the Zen Master couldn't  answer this question. To his surprise, the Zen Master also smiled and replied, “My dear student, if I  say the bird is alive, you will squeeze your hand and it will die. And I will be wrong. On the other  hand, if I say it is dead, you will release your grip and let the bird go. And I will be wrong too. Thus,  the right answer lies in your hand and I cannot answer,” said the Zen Master.  Yes, the choice and answer is in your hand. Your life and your destiny are in your hands too. You can  become what you want to be. No one can tell you otherwise when you are determined to make it  happen for yourself. You have the power within you to decide what you are. You are the captain of  your soul and the master of your destiny. You are responsible for what you become, not others.

CHAPTER 14  WU XING 

    The 5 Elements (Wu Xing) in the Book of I Ching  Generally it is translated as the ‘Five Elements’ WU XING is actually translated as the ‘the five types  of Chi dominating in different times’. However, we shall call it the 5 elements since almost all books  and practitioners use the word,”5 elements”.  The Wu XING consists of five elements in the Chinese order:‐  METAL, WOOD, WATER, FIRE, EARTH

These five elements or qualities are dynamic and they interact, correspond and clash with each  other in various ways.  Over time, many great philosophers have arranged these five elements/qualities into 4 cycles  namely, the Production cycle, the Destruction cycle, the enhancing cycle and lastly, the weakening  cycle.  We shall only concentrate on the Production and the Destruction cycle.  The Production Cycle (The Supporting Cycle)

Rather than using the Destruction cycle, it is more appropriate to say Controlling cycle. When you  destroy something, it is not the end. There is a result coming out of it when something is destroyed.  As such it is more appropriate to say Controlling cycle rather than the Destruction cycle.  The Controlling Cycle (The Destruction Cycle)

Some Feng Shui Masters call the Supporting Cycle, the Constructive Cycle and the Controlling Cycle,  the Destructive Cycle. I don’t quite agree with using the word Destructive because those who don't  understand the 5 elements in depth will avoid using two conflicting elements. It is not the right  interpretation because the destruction of the old will bring new construction and opportunity. Thus,  we use the word Controlling instead of Destructive to avoid the negative connotation.  These elements can also be represented by shapes and colours:

  The above three matters, when combined, co‐relate and interact in the simplest layman’s way, it  turns out to be a very correct association and representation.  ‘1’ is termed as leadership and independence. What element can represent this symbolic meaning?  We believe METAL and not other element. Thus, ‘1’ represents METAL.  ‘2’ is soft‐hearted, talkative and feminine. What element can represent this symbolic meaning? We  take WATER to represent ‘2’.  ‘3’ is fast, aggressive and hot temper. What element can represent this symbolic meaning? We  strongly believe FIRE. Therefore ‘3’ is FIRE.  ‘4’ is a planner and intelligence. What element can represent intelligence? Now, intelligence comes  from reading interest. Books are made of papers and papers are from WOOD. So, WOOD is  represented by the number ‘4’.  Earth is the only remaining one. Thus, ‘5’ represents EARTH. True to its meanings, ‘5’ has all the  qualities of earthly characteristics. Stubborn, Selfish, Obstacles.  HE TU  Recorded in the I‐Ching, HE TU may be understood as the mystic patterns from the river. Sage Fu Xi  spotted a mystical dragon horse rising from the Yellow River with markings on its back. These  marking become known as HE TU.  The arrangement of the trigrams in the heavenly ba gua was derived from these mystical patterns.  HE TU was later developed to become a very powerful tool for divination.  (Note: The elements associated with the Numbers in the HE TU SHALL NOT BE USED EXCEPT for  the co‐relations of the Numbers.)    www.thenumbersnetwork.com 

 

 

Therefore, the HE TU formula shows 1 & 6; 2 & 7; 3 & 8; 4 & 9; are co‐related and 5 remains single.  Since 1 & 6 is co‐related and since ‘1’ represents METAL, we shall take it as 1 & 6 is METAL.  Since 2 & 7 is co‐related and since ‘2’ represents WATER, we shall take it as 2 & 7 is WATER.  Since 3 & 8 is co‐related and since ‘3’ represents FIRE, we shall take 3 & 8 is FIRE.  Since 4 & 9 is co‐related and since ‘4’ represents WOOD, So, 4 & 9 is WOOD.  5 shall remain and ‘5’ represents EARTH.    Finally,  1, 6 = METAL  2, 7 = WATER  3, 8 = FIRE  4, 9 = WOOD  5 = EARTH    The FENG SHUI does not follow the above. As much as FENG SHUI is respected, but this Discovery  uses the above as a pivotal point to all its meanings of Numbers and its symbolic form.

CHAPTER 17  The YIN YANG of NUMBERS  The Numbers 1‐9 can also be divided into the Yin Numbers and the Yang Numbers. Again, without  the influence of any of the various occult science, in particular the Feng Shui’s Yin Yang numbers, a  very simple layman’s method has been used to divide the Numbers into the Yin Yang way. It turns  out to be a correct division as far as this discovery is concerned.  In the earlier chapter, we follow the co‐relation of Numbers of the HE TU formula. That is to say, 1 &  6 is of the same group and belongs to METAL; 2 & 7 is another and grouped under WATER element;  3 & 8 is FIRE; while 4 & 9 is WOOD; and 5 remains by itself as EARTH.

CHAPTER 25  NUMBERS & ITS VIBRATIONS (INFLUENCE)  Pythagoras, the Father of Modern Mathematics, firmly said, “The world is built upon the 'power of  numbers'. The entire universe is composed of mathematical patterns and all things can be expressed  in numbers, which correspond to universal vibrations. These numbers determine our personalities,  destinies and fortunes of individuals”  In ancient China, through the study of the Book of I‐Ching, masters discovered “numerical patterns  in the different levels of Chi. These numerical patterns can unite the harmony of nature. Theories  and formulas were then ascertained and calculated. This forms the basis of reading the  environments”.  The Indians, likewise, believe that “Numbers, like the holy mantras, wield powerful influence on all  events in the universe. Each number is, in fact, a cosmic code having its own characteristics, its own  exclusive subjects and its own good and bad effects”.  By applying these principles, and having (wear) a certain Number or placing that Number in one’s  space, that Number will 'vibrate’ and influence one’s well‐being and its environment.  To have a particular number printed on a T‐Shirt and wearing them, that number will influence your  surroundings. An example would be why great Footballers like George Best, David Beckham and  Ronaldo are good in the field? All of them wore T‐Shirt with number 7.  What is the meaning of Numbers and what are the vibrations of these Numbers?  1 ‐ LEADERSHIP & INDEPENDENT  It is the 1st number and it has the energetic force and vibrations of Leadership and Independent.  These influences will be upon you.  2 ‐ EXPRESSIVE  Having this Number with you, you will be influenced to speak and articulate well in a given situation.  3 ‐ AGGRESIVENESS  This aggressive Number will assist you in your business dealings. Whatever negotiations you indulge  in, you will succeed.  4 ‐ PLANNER & INTELLIGENT  You will cultivate reading habits, becomes intelligent and whatever plans you have, will be hard to  obstruct.  6 ‐ WEALTH  This Number will have great influence on you. Financial difficulties can be overcome. You will always  be in the comfort zone (Finances)  7 ‐ LUCK & SUPPORTER  You will attract many good friends and they will tend to be there when you need help.

CHAPTER 26  THE PRACTICE OF VARIOUS METAPHYSICS SCIENCE BY MASTERS AND PRACTITIONERS IN  MALAYSIA TODAY  HOW I LOOK AT IT 一 My Personal View and opinion  Today various forms of Metaphysics science are taught and/or practiced. The Chinese Feng Shui (the  most widely believed and practiced), Indian Vashtu, Face Reading, Palm Reading, Chinese BaZi, 'Zi  Wei’ numerology, Western‐style Numerology, Kabala Numerology and Tarot Cards have all but one  common aim; that is to know our Destiny in Life, take control of it, avoid misfortune and cure bad  areas of our lives. I have the deepest respect for these ancient discoveries. Sad to say, along my  journey of discovery on Numbers, I found that many practitioners and masters of their respective  occult science have different interpretation and varied solution to the same problem. These masters  would inject nonsensical truths and personal intuition, and infuse a lot of what I call the 'Power of  Suggestion’ into their readings. Some have even incorporated religious rites into their practice! All  these are not right. While some of these masters are indeed knowledgeable in the ancient art,  others read from various texts and proclaim themselves as masters and begin to start their own  trade. Thus I took it upon myself to really find out what and who is right and wrong and what is true  and what is false. Perhaps my legal studies molded my questioning: What is the Fact? Where is the  evidence?  More often than not, many practitioners and masters who have learned these metaphysics science  have practiced them incorrectly and come up with their own interpretation. They followed what  they have read from Books or either they learned from some Grand Masters who in turn learned  from another Master and who in turn learned from another. It is from 'master to pupil' kind of  distribution of Knowledge. Today, this is the scenario of how these metaphysics science are passed  down to these masters. These masters of modern times ought to go back to the roots of these  ancient arts to re‐examine these ancient texts. Why they were written and what environment then  influenced these Great Grand Philosophers in discovering these science.  For example, many of these illiterate so‐called masters do not comprehend and are not able to  answer as to why the Chinese compass or the 'Lou Pan” faces south whereas a modern compass  faces north! In truth, in ancient times, the Chinese designed the compass to face south to guide  people towards the south to locate good pasture and the right environment, as China’s north was  barren and cold! Thus seeking south would be ideal!  Once, I happened to meet an illiterate so‐called master and I asked if he could tell me why the  Chinese compass is south facing. He told me when I take a compass; any compass for that matter  and go to China, the compass will automatically face south. Can you buy that?  These practitioners and masters do not realized that over time, a lot of distortions have eroded into  these science and today what we have are not based on traditional texts but a lot of controversies,  superstitions and hear‐says. Having said that, practitioners or masters of these various occult science  should not feel offended but rather seek to be more open to rediscover their practices, to undertake  an in‐depth research taking into account the history and origin of these traditional documents and  learn more from them in order to advance further. Science, most importantly, is not to be left out.

Most of the occult science, which were introduced some 3,500 years ago, needs a serious re‐ examination today. The evolution of Time, to a very great extent, has disrupted the correct dispersal  of the knowledge contained in the text of these science. It is so different, then and now! Remember:  Modernization, Science and Technology have stormed the World leaving many of these occult  science fighting for their very last breath.  In the book ‘Flying Star Feng Shui’ authored by Dr. Ong Hean‐Tatt & Grandmaster Francis Leyau, the  preface states: ‘Many Feng Shui masters have good knowledge of the traditional documents. But this  knowledge is essentially stalemated. Western geomancers are incorporating scientific principles and  Feng Shui practitioners need to positively likewise’.  Further, in the 1st Chapter of the Book, they wrote, “Those with a deep knowledge of Feng Shui  accept the bulk of Feng Shui lore. But, the laymen are not necessarily wrong, when they express their  uneasy suspicious that the masters are contradicting themselves in Feng Shui practice. Some masters  admit that the ancient texts do contain some errors and contradict each other, but those current  masters would find it hard to know who was more authoritative. Down the ages, careless editing and  comments also introduced unsuspecting errors”.  Many of these masters of occult science believed that a Date of Birth for a calculation would be  correct only if the Birth is of a natural one. Caesarean method and/or suction method will not be  accurate. To them, caesarean or the suction method are, but against the actual birth of a child.  Literally, forcing the child to come out not at his own timing! The child should have his birth the  natural way.  I totally disagree. In the olden times, Caesarean and/or the suction methods were not available, and  so every woman had to give birth the painful way, i.e. the natural way.  One cannot deny that Science has made a lot of advances. It is always evolving and always  discovering new findings. Today, it is possible to pre‐determine whether you wish to have a baby  boy or a baby girl! When a baby comes out from the mother’s womb and takes it first breath, its life  is created. How the baby comes out is of little importance. The question is: did the baby come out?  All babies born by Caesarean section or by way of suction are normal and healthy. What have these  so‐called ‘sifus’ ('masters’ in the Cantonese dialect) have to say? Thus, these occult science must  incorporate scientific principles into their practice.  I recall an incident that happened in 1998, in Hong Kong. A renowned millionaire faced a very bad  turn in his business empire. Being disturbed, he decided to engage a Feng Shui master to examine  his home. Perhaps the Feng Shui of his home, which he built some many years ago, could be the  main culprit, so he thought. After some re‐examination, the Feng Shui master told the millionaire  that the house was not ideal for him. To counter such ills, the millionaire should use the back door of  the house to enter and exit but it is fine for his wife and children to use the main entrance. The  millionaire did exactly what he had been told. The millionaire has spent HK$12 million to build his  dream mansion. Despite being the owner and resident, he had no choice but to use the back door of  the mansion to enter and exit! This is nonsense. On what basis and logic must the millionaire use the  back door? You mean his good ''Chi" (Sheng Chi ‐ good business energy) comes from the back door  of the house? The millionaire and the Feng Shui master have forgotten the good times of the  www.thenumbersnetwork.com 

 

millionaire. How is it possible that during the millionaire’s good times, the main entrance was good  but now he has to use the back entrance?  The millionaire failed to understand that the year 1997 was a year of economic meltdown for almost  all Asian countries. The British Pound and the American Dollar were soaring sky high while the Asian  currencies weakened tremendously. The economies of Asian countries fell to all‐time low. The  environmental economy in the Asian region was to be blamed and not the Feng Shui of the mansion  that gave the millionaire the down turn in his business.  Another story goes this way. One Feng Shui Guru (‘Master’ in malay language) in Malaysia advised  her client that if a couple were to have marital problem, it was good to have their bedroom painted  all red to overcome their problems. Red? I cannot believe this. And this Guru went on to advise that  if one has problem, one should write down all the problems in a piece of paper and go out to the  Garden and have it burned. This will help to eliminate the problems.  Then there was this 'founder & co‐founder" that I mentioned earlier in my Chapter 2. In their mid‐ thirties, they have apparently used an MLM (Multi‐Level Marketing) system to make good their  trade. The members of this MLM organization, perhaps without the knowledge of the management  of the company, would calculate the Date of Birth of an individual and began revealing the  individual’s unfortunates and/or mishaps, even if there isn’t any truth. Fear was instilled. In order to  counter such failures in life, but most importantly to build wealth (becomes rich), the individual  would have to wear a selected numbered pendant or ring or Numbers Frame to hang on the walls of  one’s home. Wearing a numbered ring or numbered pendant will increase a person’s wealth?  They made very good money anyway, but I do not think it would last. This MLM Company seemed to  love the numbers ‘57’. Numbers ‘57’ is actually a Bankruptcy number and attracts many court cases.  They even incorporate religious rites and spiritual beliefs into their so‐called self‐discovered  Numbers. Their Numbers are blessed, so they say. I wonder if Numbers need blessings. Surprisingly  they have quite a following.  Throughout my research and my discovery, I certainly believe that Numbers have vibrations.  Numbers around and near a person can affect the well‐being of the individual (good &. bad) and his  surrounding BUT not to the extent of increasing one’s wealth.

ENLIGHTENMENT  Just about a month ago, while I was still struggling to complete my writing of this book, one of my  students who has learned the Power of Numbers from me, asked how best to overcome her son’s  bad Numbers. I told her to follow and practice the 5 remedies that I have taught her. She was still  not comfortable about it and went on to consult a ‘Bomoh’ (The Malay term for one who practices  black magic). The ‘Bomoh’ wanted RM36,000/= from her in order to get rid of her son’s failure and  misfortunes. I wonder if she paid the 'Bomoh’…  I must conclude that there are many ‘sifus’ and masters who are out there misleading many, just to  make good their trade. I would advise anyone not to be so gullible as to fall into the able hands of  some ''master cheats”. Most importantly, think out of the box. Do not let yourself be a victim of  some ''master of deception" who manipulates some aspects of metaphysics science just to fill their  pockets.  There are many more ‘sifus’ and masters too who are genuine and possess a very deep knowledge in  their respective metaphysics science. They are not just masters but researchers. There is a distinct  difference between a master and a researcher! I have very deep respect for them.  Worth mentioning is one Dr. Hew Yon Long, PhD a researcher into the theory on the Chinese Purple  Star system (Zhi Wei Tho Zu) and author of COR‐RELATIVITY. His discovery has many truths and  accuracies. But, sadly to say, it is not easy for an ordinary layman to understand and comprehend his  advanced theory, let alone the many confusion students faced while studying under him.  I also need to mention my great admiration of one master and researcher by the name of Dr. Ong  Hean‐Tatt, PhD, who has written many books on various occult science. Indeed, he is a scientist in  the art of Feng Shui and an expert in Chinese cultures and folklores. A Christian by religion, he has  studied widely the holy book of the Christians, the Bible and he has decoded many underlining  statements and scriptures in the Bible. I truly take off my hats for him.  Another young master who speaks well and is very knowledgeable about classical Feng Shui is one,  Mr. Joey Yap. He travels worldwide to give lectures on Classical Feng Shui. He, I must admit, has a  very great potential to rediscover and re‐examine the classical Feng Shui that he has mastered  extensively.        DISCLAIMER  What is said and written above is entirely my own personal view and opinion. It is not meant to  offend any masters or practitioners of various metaphysics science. My views and frank opinion are  absolutely no offence or defense whatsoever to any of the masters referred herein. As far as my facts  are concerned, it is the Truth, nothing but the Truth. I am entitled to my own opinion and views.    www.thenumbersnetwork.com 

 

 

CHAPTER 27  NUMBERS AND ITS MYSTICISM  HISTORY AND ITS ORIGIN  Numbers are defined in the World Book dictionary as the amount of units; count or sum of a group  of things or persons, total.  Numbers, in fact, existed when created. NUMBERS first appeared Cave men era. These cave men  would draw a short horizontal line on the wall of their caves. Line after line was drawn to indicate a  certain time has passed and/ or the number of days that a certain event has taken place. See  illustration. This marked the birth of early count of NUMBERS.  From the cave men era through Roman Empire, Numbers began to show its prominence. The Roman  used the following code, which stems from strokes. I, II, III, IV, V VI etc. The Chinese used vertical  way.  The Egyptians and/or the Arabs however wrote their Numbers differently. But today we have  westernized 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 and 9. This form of writing Numbers has now taken prominence in and  around the World. It is widely accepted form of writing NUMBERS. And this form has great influence  on us.  In ancient China, through the study of the Book I‐Ching, the masters discovered numerical patterns  in the different levels of Chi. These numerical patterns could unite to harmonize nature. Theories  and formulas such as Lo Shu and He Tu were then ascertained and calculated. This forms the basis of  reading the environment.  Pythagoras, the great mathematician said, “The World is built upon the Power of Numbers. The  entire universe is composed of mathematical patterns, and all things can be expressed in Numbers,  which correspond to universal vibrations.” These Numbers determine the personalities, destinations  and fortunes of individuals.  Today, numbers have come out in “Full Force” and they influence our lives greatly. Numbers are  everywhere and 'surrounding’ us. Our Identification Cards (I.C.), our Inter‐national Passport all  contain Numbers, not to mention our car license plate, telephone arid cell phone numbers. Indeed  virtually every aspect of our lives revolves around Numbers. Numbers are so prevalent in our lives  but not many are aware of this. Without Numbers, this world of ours will be chaotic.  Everything in the universe vibrates at its own frequency. By finding the vibration rate of any object  you can establish the qualities and energies associated with it. By applying the principles of  Numerology, one can determine the major frequencies of different individuals by using their birth  date as basic date. A numerology analysis of the calculated frequencies provides significant  information on the personality, character and energy of an individual. Through awareness of the  significance of these numbers, each individual can discover how to achieve harmonious vibration  with the surrounding and maximize his or her potential.

The arrangement of the numbers above is intriguing. When you add up all the 3 numbers in any row  or column of the LO SHU diagram, be it horizontal, vertical or diagonal, it will be invariably add up to  15 and 1 + 5 = 6  2. 123456789  Leaving the number 5 alone, if we add up the first number in the row with the last number, it adds  up to 1. For example, 1 plus 9 equals 10 then 1 when reduced to single digit by adding 1 and 0. When  you add 2 and 8, you will get 10, which reduces to 1. The same thing happens as you add 3 and 7,  and 4 and 6.  Example:  1 + 9 = 10   = 1 + 0 = 1  2 + 8 = 10   = 1 + 0 = 1  3 + 7 = 10   = 1 + 0 = 1  4 + 6 = 10   = 1 + 0 = 1    3. The Mysteries of Number; “11” Eleven  Note from Eighth Day Assembly  There appears to be some sort of connection between the number 11 and Islamic terrorists! The  Islamic terrorist attack upon this country happened on September “11”. The Twin Towers visually  looked like the number “11”. The first airplane that exploded into the Towers was American Airlines  flight “11”. Several of the terrorists lived in a residence in London at an address that was the number  In the 1972, Munich terrorist attack at the Olympics, there were “11” Israeli athletes massacred by  the terrorists that were involved. If the number 11 is not being used deliberately by the terrorists  because of the negative meaning of “judgment & disorder”, it could be that God is revealing the  source of who is responsible for the terrorist attacks when the number 11 is used. It is no  coincidence that the name ‘Abaddon’ (Strong’s H11l, the god of destruction, judgment & disorder),  is revealed in Revelation 9:11, revealing who was responsible for the 9/11 attack upon the USA. It is  also interesting that the Hebrew name Abaddon in Strong’s Concordance is number “H11” revealing  that the name is the 11th chronological word in the Old Testament!  Abaddon is the identity of al‐Qaeda’s terrorist god of the number 11!  The World Trade Centre attack was on September 11, 2001. The Madrid, Spain train bombing was on  March 11, 2004. The Mumbai (Bombay), India train bombing was on July 11, 2006 (reportedly the  bombs in India went off within an 11 minute span).  The Islamic founder, Muhammad, died in the year 632 AD = 6 + 3 + 2 = 11. Supposedly he received  the revelation of the Quran over a period of 22 years, which is a double 11.  Some more incidents regarding the number 11 that were found on the Internet:  •

Be watchful of multiples of 11, such as 22, the double 11! There’s connection between the number  11 and the number 22. Although the number 22 in our Bible is a positive number, some could

interpret it as a double 11, or “double judgment”! There were many terrorist activities thwarted that  were planned for September 22!  August 21, 2006: British terror plot to blow up planes over Atlantic. 11 days since the alleged plot  was first disclosed and air travel out of Britain was thrown into turmoil.   Associated Press stated today: 11 British Terror Plot Suspects Charged With Conspiracy to Commit  Murder. “One person was released from custody Monday and police continued to interrogate 11  others who remain “under investigation” lead prosecutor Susan Hemming said.  This would make the 11 already charged and the 11 yet to be charged a total of 22 terrorists! Again,  we are seeing the manifestation of the numbers 11 and 22 used in connection with Islamic terrorists.  The amazing number 22! ....check this out.... The number 22 in scripture generally speaks of “light”.  This ministry believes it is no coincidence that on October2001, President Bush released  photographs of the “22 Most Wanted Terrorists”, and in his speech he stated, “...these 22 terrorists  hide in the darkness, but we are exposing them with the “light of justice” …” President Bush  probably did not realise the number 22 represents light, and the number 11 judgment, but our God  did! The “light”in this particular 22 is the “light of justice”, and the 11 (as in the day of the  president’s speech, October 11, 2001) represents a double judgment coming back upon the anti‐ Christ terrorists and their Abandon god!  The Mystery of ‘2 6’  The Hebraic numerical value of the Hebrew letters of GOD's Holy name: YHVH is 26! Something to  think about. This matches Haggai 2:6 reference perfectly! He is shaking the nations especially  nations where pagan worship or worship of false GODS is prevalent. In His mercy and grace He will  shake some to save many! Blessed be His Name! Shalom Aleychem!  Take a look at this list too.  1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 11. 12. 13. 14. 15. 16. 17.

CHAPTER 28  WHAT IS LIFE CODE?        Pythagoras, the ‘Father of Modern Numerology’ created the above diagram that I used in all my  teachings on the POWER OF NUMBERS. He called this inverted Triangle, the ‘Holy Tetraktys’. The  above inverted diagram forms a unique method and formula to calculate the Date of Birth. The  inverted Triangle has its meaning. The Triangle pointing downwards represents Woman, Water and  Earth in its 3 points.

Along my tedious research and my rediscovering the mysticism of Numbers over the years, I have  come to comprehend that the above inverted Triangle is not a positive but rather, negative. It is also  a symbol of the gays in the world. I feel the uneasiness of the Triangle and began to have this strong  intuition that the above diagram is not complete, not balanced, literally speaking. As much as the  inverted Triangle is a method that has been created to calculate and draw Numbers from the Date of  Birth, it is just a method. There is something amiss. Some kind of an incomplete link!  Tracing back the background of Pythagoras, he taught his students on Numbers but taught his  students in a secretive manner, where students were not to write down what he taught but to only  remembering them. Being a great Mathematician, I believe his ‘Holy Tetraktys’ is another solving  one. Bearing in mind, Mathematics is all about solving mathematical puzzles.  I began to ‘toy’ with the Triangle and purposely; I drew another Triangle but this time the Triangle is  pointing upwards, just to balance up the Diagram. I delved on to find if there is any meaning of the  two Triangles joining together. I found it in the STAR OF DAVID.

intertwined together, it is a complete Diagram. A symbol of the union of polarity. Israel, a small but a  very powerful nation uses the symbol as their national identity.  I then plotted the Pythagorean chart of a person and I drew an upward Triangle onto it to look like  the STAR OF DAVID.

  Having done that, I began to concentrate on all the numbers in the upward Triangle.

  From the above Diagram, using my self‐discovered & proven method of calculations, I was able to  draw down 4 numbers from it. I got 8 1 5 7  Surprisingly and to my amazement, these 4 mysterious and unravelling numbers, when added up to  derive to a single digit using the Chaldean method, the number is the same as the Root Number of  the person’s chart. (The Root Number is the most important number. The Indian Numerology calls it  the Destiny Number) These 4 numbers take us back to the Root Number!  I began to ask myself. These 4 numbers when added up to a single digit goes back to the Root  Number? Could it be, in simple words, the 4 numbers take us back to where we come from? Could it  be in a simple metaphor, which could be used to further elaborate this 4 numbers, would be, ‘what  begins with the same will also end with the same’? Could I have balanced the numbers in a Date of  Birth? With the rise of these 4 numbers, could I have unlocked the enigma in one’s Date of Birth?  After a 1 ½ years of frenzy research through ‘trial & error’, the answer is YES!

I tried on many and countless occasions with the 4 mysterious numbers of an individual. One, I gave  the 4 numbers of the person’s chart to him and encouraged him to keep these 4 numbers all the  time with him and after 2 weeks or so, he came up to me to thank me for the 4 numbers as things  went so smooth for him. He got promoted in his company and his wife gave birth to a baby girl  whom he so wished for. He could not understand why and neither do I. I went on to give another  lady her 4 numbers. A month later, I bumped into her in a supermarket and she broke the good  news to me that her ex‐husband now decided to give her, her rightful monthly alimony. There was  one who was always broke and kept borrowing money from friends until everyone was afraid of him.  I gave the 4 numbers and likewise told him to keep it with him; he too, found that he was now able  to survive. He got a job as the chief handyman in a multi‐national company. Interestingly, I gave one  lady her 4 numbers. She was always at odds with her husband. Perhaps the 4 numbers could ease  such odds between the couple. After 2 weeks later, I asked how the 4 numbers did to her. She said  nothing good at all happened and she threw the 4 numbers away as she felt it was nonsensical. I left  it as that. A month later, she ‘sms’ to me saying she saw the 4 numbers that I gave her appearing 1st  prize in a lottery game in her homeland, Vancouver.  There are others who gained confidence in their undertakings with their 4 numbers and there are  others who have gone into new ventures and saw profitability gains and so on, it went.  Metaphorically speaking, with these 4 numbers, all the numbers in your Date of Birth will now be  complete, balanced and in harmony. I am convinced that having the 4 numbers (deriving from a  person’s chart) with the individual will greatly compliment his/her life in terms of harmony.  Misfortunes, unfortunates & unpleasant happenings will be lessened. Believe it or not, BUT is true.  This is proven by the grounded facts that I have obtained from the people who have felt a difference  when hand in hand with their newly 4 numbers. I shall call the discovery of these 4 numbers within  the Date of Birth of a person as the LIFE CODE of a person.  Will the 4 numbers make the person wealthy? I am only cheating you by saying yes.  As far as my research goes, everything in the universe vibrates at its own frequency. By finding the  vibration rate of any object, you can establish the qualities and energies associated with it. The LIFE  CODE is one of the answers. It completes and fulfils the entire calculated chart of a person’s Date of  Birth.  I have a very strong conviction that I have decoded the numbers of a person’s Date of Birth.  Dr. Oliver Tan PhD  Founder & Discoverer, Master Trainer,   POWER OF NUMBERS MAY 2012  ''Get a Life Code Plaque for yourself and your loved ones. You will see a difference in your life!   Believe it or not?  Believe it”.  www.thenumbersnetwork.com

CHAPTER 29  RELIGION VS NUMBERS IN PARTICULAR ‐ CHRISTIANITY & ISLAM to lesser extent  I do not feel justified if I do not include this chapter in my book. Along my tedious research and  reading countless dates of birth I will always come across Christians of different denominations  coming up to me and saying hurting words like “We as Christians cannot believe in this kind of thing”  or some fanatics would say, ''This is nonsense. We do not believe in this. God decides our lives and  will provide”.  Why pick on Christianity and not other religion? Christianity or the Christendom world in particular,  has been greatly indoctrinated by Church elders and pastors that believing in divinatory acts or any  other occult science are against the belief of Christianity. Many Christians voiced disapproval and  discontent, and strongly expressed their “we cannot believe in this” views, not knowing that such  expression hurt believers of other faiths. This does not bode well for a multi‐racial community.  Tolerance is what I seek from these so‐called Christians. The Islam world too, has been indoctrinated  in the same manner but in least, the Muslims brethren do not voice their discontentment as  vehemently as their Christian brothers.  Today, Numerology or numbers are often associated with the occult, alongside astrology and similar  divinations. The Christians, likewise the Muslims in particular would go against such beliefs. They  would say that their Faith disallow them to believe and/or practice them. They may have their  reasoning. It is never my intention to argue over this. Instead, I would like to use this chapter to  highlight the many biblical events that actually showed the occurrence of metaphysical science and  Numbers and the sayings of Almighty Allah in the Holy Koran that implied likewise. I am not here to  lay claim whatsoever but merely to attempt to reason out with my brethren Christian in particular,  and appeal to them to give this matter some further thoughts.  In 325 A.D., following the first Council of Nicaea, Christians who believe in Numerology or any  divination other than the belief laid down by the state Church is in violation within the Roman  Empire. Numerology did not find favour with the Christian authorities of the day. It was classified as  unapproved belief alongside with astrology and other divination. Through this religious purging,  Numerology began to disappear. In spite of this suppression, there were still many devout believers  who kept the knowledge locked away.  The Bible was written some 2,500 years ago. Between then and now, many worldly things have  changed. Since we are in this world, we have to live in it, live with it, adjust with it, go along with  what is good and discard what is bad if we want to live harmoniously among humans, while not  forgetting and most importantly, believing in the only one True God. We ought to stop going around  condemning other faiths and beliefs! This is not good for the community by and at large.  Allow me to cite the following biblical events relating to astrology and numbers: ‐  1. Rabbi, Joel C Dobin in his book, The Astrological Secrets of the Hebrew Sages’ noted that the  Midrash stated that Terah, Abraham’s father as an astrologer and further described  Abraham wearing a large astrological table on his breast. Each morning the kings of the East  and West would gather before him to seek his advice.

Even Aaron, Moses brother, on the insistence of Yahweh, must wear a Breast piece, specially  designed according to the kind of crystals that God instructed, the specifically rings, before  Aaron could enter the Holy Place the Tent of meeting. Aaron would then make decisions for  the Israelites over his heart before the Lord. See Exodus 28: 29‐30  3. Psalms 90 says “Teach us to number our days so that we may apply our hearts in wisdom”.  4. In the New Testament in Matthew 2:1‐2. It read:  “After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, magi from the  east came to Jerusalem and asked, ''Where is the one who has been born King of the Jews?  We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him”  5. Further, in Matthew 2:9. It further states:   “After they heard the King, they went on their way, and the star they had seen in the east  went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. When they saw the  star they were overjoyed”.  The Bible is rich in a number of references, starting with the Book of Genesis and continuing  throughout to Revelations, the last book in the Bible. The Bible is a veritable mine of number  symbology. Both the Old and New Testaments reveal, by use of numbers, the depth of  meaning and hidden concepts, which commonly escape the casual reader. Many biblical  characters who reached periods of spiritual enlightenment in their lives were given new  names by the Lord God, Yahweh. Thus, Abram became Abraham (Genesis 17:5) and Sarai  became Sarah. In the New Testament too, Saul became Paul and Simon became Peter. As  proverbs 22:1 states, “a good name is rather to be chosen than great riches”. Number 7 and  Number 40 are commonly repeated numbers in the Bible. The Number 7 signifies  completion. God rested on the 7th day. See Genesis 2 : 2; Genesis 7: 2‐4 and Revelation 1:20.   40 is often understood as the number of ''probation & trial". For example, God sent rain on  the earth for forty days and forty nights. (Genesis 7:4). The Israelites wandered for 40 years.  (Deuteronomy 8:2‐5). Moses was on the mountain for 40 days. (Exodus 24:18); the story of  Jonah and Nineveh involved 40 days (Jonah 3:4) Jesus was tempted in the wilderness for 40  days; there were 40 days between Jesus resurrection and ascension. (Acts 1:3)   Many biblical references are taken from the cycles of the natural world. The symbology of  the four seasons and four winds is embodied in Ezekiel’s vision of the four living creatures ‐  the face of a man, the face of a lion, the face of an ox and the face of an eagle (Ezekiel 1” 5‐ 14) and Revelations. These four relates to the four fixed signs of the Zodiac. The four  elements appear symbolically as the birds in the air, the fish of the sea, and the fire of the  Lord and the products of the earth.  Genesis 2:10‐14 tells of the ''river out of the Eden which parted into four heads”. The rivers  were named Pison, Gihon, Hiddekel and Euphrates. Metaphysically, these names mean Spirit  (Fire), Breath (air), Body (earth) and Blood (water). These symbolize spirit, mind, body and  soul, which are four principles that vitalize the material body during its earth life.  While I was writing to complete this Book, a student of mine gave me a book entitled, “A  Biblical Approach to Feng Shui & Divination” by Daniel Tong, a Singaporean Christian priest. I  took my time to read his articles and his notes in the book. So co‐incidentally, the timing was  right for me to write my comments on his book in this chapter.  www.thenumbersnetwork.com 

 

Reading his book, Daniel Tong has a very wide and good knowledge of the Chinese  Divination but sadly, it ended not well but rather, offensive. In page 118/119 of the book  under the heading “Feng Shui as Demonic”. In this area of his perception, he believes there  is a demonic element in the practice of Feng Shui. He added that though he does not believe  that the ancient philosophers are agents of demonic powers working to deceive us all. It is  just that these philosophers fall short of finding Yahweh in their search for meaning in life  and seeking to bless harmony.  I would like to comment Daniel Tong’s statements. The times of these ancient Philosophers  were during the times around 600 years before Jesus Christ. (600 BC). To associate Yahweh  with these ancient philosophers may not be right. Yahweh is the lord God of Abraham, God  of Issac and God of Jacob & Moses. Simply, the God of the Isradites (Jews) and not other else.  There should not be any association of Yahweh with these ancient philosophers at all.  But when Christ came down to earth, the Jews did not accept him but the gentiles did. Then  Jesus took the gentiles in to be as equal as the children of God. See Hebrew chapters.  Daniel Tong, in his book page 119 wrote  What are we to do? First, as a believer in God, you must 'not worry about your life, as to  what you will eat; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. For all these things the  nations of the world eagerly seek; but your Father knows that you need these things. But  seek His kingdom and these things will be added to you' (Luke 12 : 22b, 30‐31)  Stop being anxious about your daily needs; stop trying to gain heath and wealth through  self‐effort. Yahweh knows even the exact number of hairs on your head (Matthew 10:29‐33)  ‐ He will take care of you if you would him!  Second, abide by what Yahweh requires of you, which is that you 'fear the Lord and serve  him in sincerity and truth; and put away the gods which your fathers served beyond the  River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord’ (Joshua 24:14).  He further added:  Put aside your Feng Shui practices and unbiblical beliefs in the philosophy of Yin‐Yang. Qi  and the Dao as the creative forces of the universe. Turn to Yahweh, ‘to walk in all His ways  and love Him and to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul’.  (Deuteronomy 10:12)  Do Christian brethrens today follow strictly to the above scriptures? I wonder!  According to Luke, Jesus was saying this to console the many poor, homeless, helpless and  hopeless Jews who were lost in their soul to turn to God for only the Almighty Lord God can  guide them. Today, it is very illogical to follow exactly what the scriptures in Luke said.  We need to look after ourselves. We cannot submit everything and just about anything to  Yahweh. Be sensible. We must look after our own health and look after our wealth in order  to have a good life in old age. Unless and until we are helpless and impossible beyond our  means and control, God is possible.  www.thenumbersnetwork.com 

 

In Joshua 24:14, Yahweh was talking to the Israelites, the chosen children of God. He was  specifically referring to the Jewish forefathers who prayed to other gods in Egypt. I see no  relevance in applying this script to the many newborn Christians today!  I must reiterate that I am trying to be a Christian, believing in the only one True God. I love  the Almighty with all my heart, soul and strength. But that does not mean I must leave  everything and just about anything to my one True God. I have to think of my future, my  children’s future and my family! Is this a wrong statement?  I am sure my one True God will never want to see me unprepared or ill‐prepared for my  family and future.  6. Numbers in the Bible as perceived by Daniel Tong in his book in page 102. It read:  But what is so wrong about a belief in the auspiciousness of numbers? Doesn’t the Bible  emphasize the significance of numbers too? The answer to the question is both ‘yes’ and  ‘no’. Yes, numbers have a role in the World of God. For example, consider the imagery of the  twelve tribes of Israel and the twelve apostles. I am aware too that the biblical numerology  has been around for a long time, for example the number 3 is considered a reference to  Godhead, and as a result, presents perfection. Having said this, I must add that, biblical,  numbers are either literal or symbolic. At no point does the Word of God advocate numbers  to be inherently powerful, so to be lucky or unlucky.  My comments on the above I would like to refer to the constructions of the Tabernacle and  the Noah’s Ark; Yahweh specially orchestrated the construction and building of the Noah’s  Ark., (Genesis 6: 14‐16) the Tabernacle, and the Lamp stand, the Courtyard. (Exodus 25‐27)  Genesis 6: 14‐16 states:  “So make yourself an ark of Cyprus wood; make room in it and coat it with pitch inside and  out. This is how you are to build it: that ark is to be 450 feet long, 75 feet wide and 45 feet  high. Make a roof for it and finish the ark to within 18 inches of the top. Put a door in the  side of the Ark and make lower, middle and upper decks.”    7. In Exodus 25:9, God said to Moses:   ‘Make this Tabernacle and all its furnishings exactly like the pattern I will show you’    THE MUSLIMS  The Muslim world has gone through a tremendous change from time immemorial to this very day.  The Muslims must not forget their Islamic world was the first to discover Science and Mathematics.  Ibnu Battuta, the famous voyager discovered the guiding of the star during his sea voyage. His  voyage of 75,000 miles from Morocco to China and back was a great feat! The Arabs were great  seafarers.  The knowledge of Ibnu Sina another great philosopher, discovered 4 elements that guided and  influenced the earth: Fire, Wind, Water and Earth (But the Chinese in the book of I Ching, mentioned  5 elements)

Mathematics and Numerology were first started in early Babylon. (Now Iraq). But somehow, sadly,  Science has lost its way among the Muslims, by and at large.  Great thinkers and philosophers, just to name a few like Jabir Ibn Haiyun, the Father of Chemistry  (died in 803 CE) Al Battani who expounded Astronomy, Mathematics and Trigonometry (858 ‐ 929),  Abu Raihan Al‐ Biruni who determine the Earth’s circumference (973‐1048).  These contributions by these philosophers sparked the light of learning and productivity and without  whom the European Renaissance would not have begun and come to maturity!  Today, Science and Mathematics has lost to the western world. For whatever reason is beyond one’s  comprehension. What is important is that the Muslims were 1st class in science, astronomy and  mathematics.  The Muslims today, in particular, the staunched Muslims or rather, the ‘fanatics’ rely solely on the  Almighty Allah. To them, their life is in the hands of the Almighty Allah. Anything and everything  happens to them is the work of Allah and they should accept it as the way the Almighty Allah wants  it to be for them. They shut their mind to science and knowledge. It is really wrong thinking. The  Muslim world being far behind and lagging is sad.  In Surah Al Rad, verse 11 in the Holy Quran, it states: “The Almighty Allah would not change the faith  of the community unless and until the community decides to change its faith”
