Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.

Assemble the penguin 1. Place the forehead cover on the head part so the lower (narrow) edge is between the rounds 11 and 12. Pin it in place. 2. Place the head inside the head cover. The upper edge of the head cover should be placed right above the forehead cover. Make sure that the gaps between the forehead cover and the head cover on round 11 are equal on both sides. Sew both covers around using the remaining yarn tails. Equal gaps here

3. Place the beak on the lower edge of the forehead cover. It should cover the rounds 10 - 12 of the head. Pin it in place and sew around using the remaining yarn tail.

4. Take a strand of black embroidery thread and embroider the sleepy eyes on round 11. They should appear 2 s�tches away from the beak. 5.

5. Take a strand of peach colour embroidery thread and embroider the blush over 1 - 2 s�tches right below the eyes.

6. Take the flippers and sew them together using one of the remaining yarn tails.

7. Place the flippers on the bo�om of the head. They should appear 5 rounds below the beak. Pin them in place and sew using the remaining yarn tail. 5 rounds here

2. Pin the flippers of the penguin together and sew them using gray colour yarn.

Stars (make 8) • Work in rounds • Use 2 mm crochet hook and mustard colour yarn 1. Start a magic ring, ch 2 (it doesn’t count as a s�tch), hdc 10, close the ring and sl in the first hdc of this round [10] 2. (ch 4, start in the second ch from the hook: sl 1, sc 1, hdc 1, skip 1 st and sl in next st) repeat 5 �mes [5 points]

3. A�ach the stars to the points of the blanket using the remaining yarn tails.

Fasten off and leave a tail. Weave the remaining yarn through the star to one of the points and leave it there for sewing.

Assemble the lovey 1. Place the penguin on the back side of the blanket. It should appear on the colour change facing towards the point of the blanket. Pin it in place and sew around with blue and navy colour yarn.
