Network Terminal Introduction Through the LAN, make a number of network terminals to share a high-performance computer. Network diagram is as follows:

Quick installation guide Step 1: Install software on the host computer Insert the CD into the CD-ROM in the host computer,double-click the "NCserver3.2.exe" file on the CD's root directory, follow these steps to install::

Click "Next".

Select "I accept the terms in the License Agreement",then click "Next".

Click "Next"(default installation), also can change the installation directory.

Click "Install".

Click "Finish".

Click"Yes".the installation is successful after restart the computer.

06 www.thinsoft.com.cn Step 2: Add users for terminals Double-click"NetServer_en.exe" on the host computer's desktop 1、Click“Host Information”,you will see “Operating system”、“Internal Version”、“IP Address”、“Terminal service” (terminal service must be“Running”,otherwise terminal won't work)under“System Information”. If you want to log into host without password,please choose “Allow empty password”. You can see “User”、“ID”、“Status”,“Client name”and“ Client IP” for all the terminals which connected with host. See Figure 2.

2、Back to Figure 1,click“Terminal List”,you can find correctly running and successfully network connected terminals in the left list. Please click “Refresh” if there is no display. See Figure 3.

3、Click“Terminal Setting”,you will see“Terminal Information”、“Network Information”、“Auto Connect Information”. See Figure 4.

(1)Click“Network Settings”,then you can set terminal IP(you can change terminal IP without restarting). See Figure 5.

(2)Click “Auto Connect”,input host IP address, the user name which you want to auto log into host,“password”,then choose“Auto Run”.Please choose“Disk drivers”if you want the USB driver connected with terminal to be showed in the host, click “ok” to save all the settings. Terminal will auto log into host after restart. See Figure 6. (3)Click“Remote Monitoring” to remote monitoring the terminal. (4)Click“Send Messages”,to send message to the terminal. You can send to all the terminals by choose “ALL”.See Figure 7.

4、Back to Figure 1. click“User Management” ,you will see all the user name which are RDP users in the left list. See Figure 8. choose“Add Users” to add user,then input “user name”and“password”choose“administrator”or “normal”,then click “Add”. See Figure 9.

08 www.thinsoft.com.cn 5.Mass add. Click Mass-add. Mass add can create multi user names including same features. e.g.if you need to add 5 users:user1、user2、user3、 user4、user5. There is only figure difference ,if we use(*) to show the different part,only need to input user(*) in the User Name blank,input “1”in“From” blank,input “5”in “to”blank.“Wildcard Length”means the figure length of these user name's different part,e.g.:user1-user5,wildcard length is 1;user01-user05,wildcard length is 2;user001-user005,wildcard length is 3. See Figure 10. Wildcard also can instead of letter. E.g. userA、userB、userC, the only difference of these 3 users is the last letter,(*) means different part,input user(*) in the User name blank,choose second button,,input “a” in “from”blank,input “c”in“to”blank. There is no wildcard length when wildcard is letter, and case sensitive .See Figure 11. Then input uniform password,choose administor or normal user in “Group”,“add”.

6、Choose the user name you want to delete,click“Delete Users”,then click“confirm”to delete the user. See Figure 12.

7 、Back to Figure 1. Click “Start Sync-to-end”to achieve synchronous,then all the detected terminals will show same screen as host, after synchromous,host interface will minimize to the bottom right corner of taskbar,then become to icon

Step3: Complete the network terminal physical connection Make keyboard,mouse,monitor.cable and power supply etc connect with terminal.

Step4:Start up the network terminal Complete and confirm that all cable connections are correct, open terminal power switch. According to the following steps to configure the network terminal.

C: Enter “System Settings” interface Click the "System Settings" button. Input the default password "123".

D: Set screen resolution Click "Screen Resolution", select the suitable resolution. pls click "confirm" after resloution change and terminal restart,if you don't click "confirm", then terminal resolution will return back to previous.

Click "OK" after select, need to restart to make it effect.

Cick“System Information”,you will see the terminal information“Fireware Version”and “IP Address” etc.

E: Network Settings Back to "System Settings",click "Network Settings".

Double-click the Ethernet Adapter "DM9CE1", configure the IP Address, click "OK" after done.

F: Conne c t h ost Click“Connect Host”,it will pop up the NcClient window,then host's IP will be automatically displayed in the list, choose one IP address and then click “connect”to log into host .

If host IP was not displayed in the list, then click “ADD” to input host IP address, click “OK”. If you want to delete one host IP address,Choose the host IP which you want to delete, then click “Delete” .

Choose host IP address, click “Setting”, then input default password “123”.

With the following steps, you can change some setting to log into host, for example, if you want to display USB disk,choose“Local Resources” ->“ Local devices” , choose“ Disk drives redirection” , then you will see the USB disk connected with terminal in terminal device.

Step5:Other settings Click the "System Settings" Button on the default system screen. Input the password "123" and enter"System Settings" dialog.

A. Set to automatically connect host.

Click"Auto connect Setup"button ·Input the host IP in the "Computer". ·Input the user name in the "User name". ·Input the password in the "Password". If you need connect domain Server ·Input the domain in the "Domain". ·If need to start one program on connect ,select "Start the following program on connect " and input the program's full path in the "Program path and file name:". ·If need to use usb disk,select "Disk drivers". ·If need to automatically connect host when terminal startup,select "Auto Run". After done,click "Save".

B. OS Update Copy the OS image(*.nb0) into usb disk on PC and plug the usb disk into terminal, then click "OS Update" on the "System Settings"

Click "Select OS file",navigate to "Hard Disk" and select the OS image(*.nb0),click "OK".

Click "Start update",click "OK",and program will automatically update,the update process will continue several minutes.

After the update is completed,click "OK",system will restart and the whole update process is complete.

C. Logo Update Copy the logo image(Requirements:BMP format,size:720X480) into usb disk on PC and plug the usb disk into terminal,then click "Logo Update" on the "System Settings".

Click "select logo file",navigate to "Hard Disk" and select the logo image,click "OK".

Click "updata logo",click "OK",and program will automatically update,the update process will continue ten seconds or so.

After the update is completed,it will show "logo update complete!!",click "OK", .

D.Remote viewer settings Click"Remote viewer settings" on the "System Settings".

1.Set a password Default password is empty.If need to set a password. Select "VNC Password Authentication" on the "Authentication" tab.click"ok". Then pop up a message box like this:

After input the password,click"OK".It needs to restart to make it effect.

2、Change password On the "Authentication",click "Configure".

After input the password,click "OK".It needs to restart to make it effect.

3、Cancel password Select "No Authentication" on the "Authentication" tab,click "OK",then pop up a message box like this:

click "Yes".It needs to restart to make it effect.

4、Inputs settings Select "Inputs" tab.

Select the different options as needed,click "OK" to save. It needs to restart to make it effect.

18 www.thinsoft.com.cn WITH ADOMAIM USER LOGIN 一、Set “windows server 2003” as the domain controller 1.Install “DHCP” server. 2.Install DNS” and “Active Directory”Please see the installation method from other files . The domain is “contoso.com”, Windows Server 2003-based computer system called "a-z29qe6oyg78j".

二、Authorize DHCP server 1、After restarting computer then press ““Ctrl+Alt+Del”combination key . Login server as [email protected] and keep password blank. 2、Click “start” choose”control panel “then click “DHCP”. 3、Click “a-z29qe6oyg78j.contoso.com”. Right-click “a-z29qe6oyg78j.contoso. com”,then click “authorization” 4、Close “DHCP” Management console.

三、Add Domain Users Click”start”-“control panel”-“Active Directory user and computer”,click “Active Directory“user and computer[a-z29qe6oyg78j.contoso.com]”on left side .- ->“contoso.com”-->“Users Right-click”Users”set up new user Input “kim” as Last name , “jim”as frist name .--> next stepinput password and conform without a tick on “need change the password when login last time “choose “permanent password”finish.Find the user named “kimjim” then right click “Property” attached to addadvancedfind now choose “Domain Admins”in the research result below.-->okokok.

四、Connect Windows XP Professional to domain 1、Use Administrator account Install the software (nc600) in disk . 2、Click “my computer” right click “Property”computer namerevisechoose domain from “attached to” input the domain name “contoso.com”OK .

五、Use the domain user of N 600 login 1、Check and see the IP ADDRESS of Windows XP Professiona series. 2、Click “Remote Desktop Connections”of NC600.input the IP Address of windows xp Professional,After show Logform then input the user's name “jim” and password setted up before .Choose “contoso”click “connect” then will login.

Login with the external network 1、The router's IP address is 192.168.1.1 (note the back of the router),Input "192.168.1.1" on the host PC browser's address bar and press Enter to enter a user name and password (note the back of the router), as shown in Figure 1.

2、Open the "Forward Rules" -> "Virtual Server" -> "Add new entry", as shown in Figure 2.

20 www.thinsoft.com.cn 3、In the "Service Port Number:" input "3389",in the "IP Address:" input as the host of LAN IP address,in the "Protocol:", select "TCP", in the "Status:" select " force "," common service port number "by default, click the" Save ", as shown in Figure 3, Figure 4.

4、Select the "running", in the "WAN Status" column,you will see a host outer network IP address, as shown in Figure 5.

5、Use NC600 connect host, click "connect host," add IP "124.172.201.252". click "connected". As shown in figure 6.

6、Enter the user name and password, click "OK." As shown in Figure 7.

NC600W WIFI CONNECTION METHOD 1 The router's IP address is 192.168.1.1 (note the back of the router),Input "192.168.1.1" on the host PC browser's address bar and press Enter to enter a user name and password (note the back of the router), as shown in Figure 1.

2 Open "Wireless Parameters" -> "basic settings", where "SSID number:" this is the WIFI name which shown on NC600 (e.g. Figure 3). If you want to use WIFI, make sure "Enable wireless" tick. if you want to set the WIFI password, must take the "Open Security Settings" tick. Set the "Security Type:", "Security Options:", "encryption method:", "PSK password:" as shown in Figure 1.

3 Open NC600, It's can automatically identify the WIFI, as shown in Figure 3. 4 Double-click the name of the correct WIFI, as shown in Figure 4. And the setting content should bethe same with figure 2.

5 Set and click OK, it will connect successfully, as shown in Figure 5. 6 Click the "Local Desktop", you can see the bottom right corner of the WIFI icon has work properly, as shown in Figure 6.

How to use USB printer on NC600&NC600W? 1.First,Install the driver of printer on the Host PC,and then, connect the printer's USB cable to the USB interface of NC600, power on NC600 and the printer. Click "Connect Host", the system will automatically recognize the Host PC's IP address or add the Host PC's IP address manually,select one Host PC's(the one have installed driver of printer) IP address in the list, click "Setting" (password is: 123). See Figure1.

2.Select the "Local Resources" tab, choose "Printers" in the “local device” options,and then,click “printers”button.See Figure2.

3. Double-click "Add Printer". it may need to wait a short time,because the system needs to detect the appropriate port.See Figure3.

4.Select the port you want your printer to use “LPT1:”, click "Next". See Figure4.

5. Select the Printer Model, select the correct “Manufacturers” and “Printers” model in the list. Click "Next".See figure 5. Here will skip to step 7,See Figure7. (If your printer is not listed, please choose the "User Defined". Click "Next". See figure 6. Here then proceed to step 6.)

6. Enter the Model Name, here to fill in the host printer name shown on the Host PC. (Example: after installing the driver of printer on the

Host PC,It's will show

in "Printers and Faxes", then here to fill out the "Jolimark FP-530K +", this name must be

consistent), and click "Next".See figure 7.

7. Name Your Printer ,Here may default, click "Next". See figure 8.

10. At this point, the printer added successfully, click "OK". See figure 11.

11, After NC600 connected to the Host PC successfully,and need to print documents, please select the printer name like "Jolimark FP-530K + (From WindowCE) in session 1".and click “Print”,then print completed.See figure 12.

Note: 1.NC600 can not support Multifunction(All-in-one) USB Printers. 2.If can not find the printer name similar "Jolimark FP-530K + (From WindowCE) in session 1" after connected to the Host PC, Please opens "Start" -> "Run" -> Enter "gpedit.msc" -> "Computer Configuration" -> "Administrative Templates" -> "Windows Components" -> "Terminal Services" -> "Client / Server data redirection" in the Host PC, double click "Do not allow client printer redirection", Choose "Disabled" in the setting , and then,Applicate and reconnect the host . See Figure 13.

How to use ICA Client on NC600&NC600W ? 1, First of all,Install Citrix software on the host, and then,set the host IP address. 2, Turn on the NC600, and enter the local desktop, double-click the ICA Client on the desktop. As shown in figure 1.

4, Double-click the ICA Client again on the desktop, click "Create New Connection". As shown in figure 3.

5, Fill in the host's IP address, and click Save. As shown in figure 4.
