Low maintenance required due to: • Swivel joints: Kanon Swivel joints are engineered according to the strictest mechanical rules. That’s why the balls of our swivel joint have 4 contact points in ball races for a perfect handling of mechanical loads.
⇒ Almost no tears & wears ⇒ No replaceable ball races needed ⇒ No replacement of inner body is required
during the entire life time of the loading arm
⇒ Easy In-situ seal replacement provision without the need of removable elbows
⇒ Only one visual check per year is recommended
• Drain processing: Purge connection at Riser base to avoid the need of piping or flex hose maintenance.

Easily operated • Balancing: Full balance of the loading arm is provided by means of a mechanical link with a rotating counterweight system. In accordance with operational requirements the arm will be optimum balanced for empty or full condition.
• Electric-hydraulically operated:
When operating envelope requirement becomes larger or when safety-systems are required, hydraulic operations are recommended Hydraulic operation of the arm is provided by three hydraulic drives: ⇒ 2 drives for in- and out board arm movement ⇒ 1 drive for rotation movement
Our loading arms, when manoeuvred in connecting position, can be easily rotated by the operator. Movements of the hydraulic loading arm can be electrically effectuated by: ⇒ push-buttons on either operator console or remote control pendant box / wireless set.
