COMPLY WITH THE STARTING PROCEDURES AND START MAIN ENGINE. KEEP THE FUEL LIVER IN START POSITION. CONTROL IN E/R. OPEN THE M/E CONTROL PANEL AND IDENTIFY OVER SPEED METER RELAY. THERE IS A TEST ON THE SURFACE OF METER RELAY.TEST IS A SIMULATION VOLTAGE TRANSMITTER WHICH SET NORMALLY AT ZERO R.P.M ( CLOCKWISE MAXIMUM POSITION) TURN THE TEST ADJUSTER VERY SLOWLY TO ANTI CLOCKWISE AND OBERVE THE R.P.M METER WHICH SHOWS RISE IN R.P.M. (BUT ENGINE R.P.M WILL BE CONSTANT) KEEP TURING IT ANTI CLOCKWISE AND WHEN THE R.P.M ON METER REACHES 865 THE M/E AUTOMATICALLY TRIP OFF ON O.S.TRIP. ALL FOUR L.E.Ds IN METER RELAY WILL BE LIT. AFTER TESTING O.S.T PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT THE TEST ADJUSTER TO BE TURNED TO ITS ORIGINAL POSITION (MAXIMUM CLOCKWISE POSITION) RESET THE TRIP BY FUEL LIVER IN OFF POSITION. START M/E AND CONFIRM NORMAL STARTING.

MAIN ENGINE LUB OIL PRESSURE ALARM SIMULATION 1) COMPLY WITH THE STARTING PROCEDURES AND START MAIN ENGINE. 2) KEEP THE FUEL LIVER IN START POSITION. CONTROL IN E/R. 3) MANUALLY CLOSE THE DANFOSS PRESSURE CONTROLER ALARM TEST VALVE WITH 7mm SPANNER. 4) OPEN THE BLEEDING BOLT AND BLEED THE OIL VERY SLOWLY AND OBSER THE PRESSURE GUGE READING. WHEN IT REACHES AT 0.2 Mpa ALARM SHALL TRIGGER. 5) TIGHTEN THE BLEEDING BOLT AND OPEN THE TEST VALVE.

MAIN ENGINE LUB OIL PRESSURE TRIP SIMULATION 1) COMPLY WITH THE STARTING PROCEDURES AND START MAIN ENGINE. 2) KEEP THE FUEL LIVER IN START POSITION. CONTROL IN E/R. 3) MANUALLY CLOSE THE DANFOSS PRESSURE CONTROLER TRIP TEST VALVE WITH 7mm SPANNER. 4) OPEN THE BLEEDING BOLT AND BLEED OIL VERY SLOWLY AND OBSER THE PRESSURE GUGE READING. WHEN IT REACHES AT 0.15 Mpa ALARM SHALL TRIGGER AND M/E WILL BE TRIPPED OFF. 5) TIGHTEN THE BLEEDING BOLT AND OPEN THE TEST VALVE. 6) RESET THE TRIP BY FUEL LIVER IN OFF POSITION. 7) START M/E TO CONFIRM NORMAL STARTING.

MAIN ENGINE LUB OIL PRESSURE ALARM & TRIP SIMULATION WITH CALIBRATED MASTER GUAGE AND TSETING EQUIPMENT 1) BOTH ALARM AND TRIP CAN BE VERIFIED BY CALIBRATED GUAGE. 2) MANUALLY CLOSE THE DANFOSS PRESSURE CONTROLER ALARM TEST VALVE WITH 7mm SPANNER. OPEN THE BLEEDING BOLT AND BLEED THE OIL. CONNECT THE ADAPTER AND FLEXIBLE CONNECTOR OF TESTING EQUIPMENT ON TO THE TEST VALVE. 3) CLOSE THE BLEEDING VALVE AND PUMP WITH HANDLE OF THE TEST EQUIPMENT TO RAISE THE PRESSURE UP TO 0.3 Mpa. ON CALIBRATED PRESSURE GUAGE. 4) COMPLY WITH THE STARTING PROCEDURES AND START MAIN ENGINE. 5) KEEP THE FUEL LIVER IN START POSITION. CONTROL IN E/R. 6) VERY SLOWLY OPEN THE BLEED VALVE OF THE TESTING EQUIPMENT AND OBSERVE THE PRESSURE. WHEN IT REACHES AT 0.2 Mpa ALARM SHALL TRIGGER. 7) STOP M/E AND REPEAT 2, 3, 4, 5& 6 ON TO THE TRIP TEST VALVE. 8) M/E SHALL BE TRIPPED OFF AT 0.15 Mpa. WITH ALARM. 8) RESET THE TRIP BY FUEL LIVER IN OFF POSITION. 9) START M/E TO CONFIRM NORMAL STARTING.
