FRANKENSTEIN HEAD TEMPLATE © This template will give you the framework to make a Frankenstein head, measuring w 34cm x h 35cm x d 28.5cm. Making the costume is a little bit like making a dress, you lay the pattern down, then cut it out and join it together. The only differece is that your material is cardboard, your scissors are blades and your thread is glue. Copyright Disclaimer Thank you so much for purchasing this template. I have spent a considerable amount of time developing this costume so that you can print the templates as many times as you like and make as many heads as you need. But please DO NOT share or use this template for commercial or financial gain, without the permission of the copyright owner, Zygote Brown Designs. What you need: ~ Single walled cardboard
~ Scissors
(about 5mm thick , you should be able to fit all templates on a 75x112cm sheet of cardboard)
~ Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Most Ikea boxes will do as long as they are single walled.
~ Blu-tac (Sticky tac)
~ A3 printer
~ Tape
~ Craft blade
~ Tweezers
~ Paint Safety This template is designed for you to enjoy the process of creating your own cardboard costume. Please be cautious when using hot glue and sharp blades as I really want you to enjoy the process without injury!

Using a sharp blade, carefully cut the templates out, making sure to stick to
Step nine (Bolts) Again this is not essential but if you can either create a lip (like described above) on the Bolt Sides and Bolt Tops and Bottoms or cut into the fluting on a 45degree angle you will create cleaner edges. Once you have prepared the edges glue the Bolt Sides to the Bolt Tops. Once you have glue around the bolt, glue the bottom. the cutting lines. Score the cardboard on the scoring lines (being careful Head Top Back
not to go all the way through, as you are basically just cutting the outer layer of cardboard). Remove the paper templates and then mould and loosen the cardboard where you have made the scores. This enables you to shape the cardboard so it will fold and curve into the shape of the Frankenstein head.
Step ten (Decorate) It’s now time to decorate your Frankenstein. Using the Eyebrows, Tooth and Stitches templates (with a thinner cardboard), and the Bolts, decorate and design your Frankenstein how you want him to look. Using a bit of paint and a couple of the combinations featured, you will have a brilliant Frankenstein costume in no time.
Step five Take the Face cut out and push together and glue the two darts along the jaw line. www.zygotebrowndesigns.com © Zygote Brown Designs 2018 www.zygotebrowndesigns.com
