1. Ultrasonic Examination 2. 30% ultrasonic examination was performed on weld seams. 3. 100% ultrasonic examination was performed on attached nozzles Qty:04. No recordable indication was detected and results found satisfactory. 2. MPI Examination MPI carried out on 10% of LS, CS weld seam and some selected tee portion. No relevant indication observed. 3. Hardness Testing Hardness testing was performed on area of weld metal and HAZ of major components (shell, head and nozzle) during which localized zones of high hardness were observed. However on average results were found at boundary line. 4. Dye Penetrant Testing 5.

INTERNAL VISUAL INSPECTION: Shell: Hard scale deposition followed by slight corrosion was noted on several locations inside the vessel. There was a slight scale buildup throughout the entire ID of the vessel and weld seams. Nozzles/Openings: No signs of bulging, blistering or warping were observed on manway and nozzles. However, ID inspection of some nozzles was limited due to light rust/scale buildup. Internal Attachment: Internal attachments were checked during which severe scale and rust buildup was noted on ladders. Head: The heads were in comparable condition to the shell. Both heads are ellipsoidal and there was no visible distortion observed except; wide scattered pits were noted and examined at the bottom head. See Annexure 01 - reference sketch. Anyhow, the remaining thickness under the deepest pit is still greater than the minimum required thickness.

6. INSPECTION DATA EVALUATION: 6.1. Minimum Required Thickness Determination Minimum required thickness (corrosion allowance not included) for the SHELL based on the provided design data and documents; Calculated Thickness of Shell = 54.72mm Minimum required thickness (corrosion allowance not included) for the Elliptical HEAD based on the provided design data and documents; Calculated Thickness of Top Head = 52.67mm Calculated Thickness of Bottom Head = 52.86mm

6.2. Corrosion Rate Determination Minimum Thickness of the Shell recorded in Previous Inspection: 59.45mm Minimum Thickness of the Head recorded in Previous Inspection: 58.06mm Previous Inspection Date: April 2012 Minimum Thickness of the Shell recorded in Current Inspection: 59.06mm Minimum Thickness of the Head recorded in Current Inspection: 57.48mm 6.3. Corrosion Rate (Shell & Head):Shell : 0.0650 mm/year Head: 0.0966 mm/year 6.4. Remaining Life Shell : 66 years Head: 47 years 6.5. Inspection interval Next Internal Inspection = 10 years or half of remaining life Next external inspection = 5 years of internal inspection interval 7. Recommendations a) It is recommended to employ adequate internal cleaning of vessel and proper cleaning on flange faces and opening necks before putting equipment back to service. b) Cracks in concrete foundation should be rectified. c) Bolts and nuts on supporting structure should be checked for tightness. d) Employ internal cleaning, housekeeping and proper coating inside the skirt.
