Detailed Estimate for Toll Plaza of Two Lane Paved Shoulder i/c Construction of Bridges Culvert in Km. 24-92 on NH-59A (Indore – Betul Road )

3 Provisions
:-
Following Provision are made in detailed estimate as per IRC - SP:73 2007, section 10 :1- Location of Toll Plaza (10.2) :(i) Land availabilty - n km. 26 & 71 the clear ROW is 30.00 meter available and remaning extra land required is 30.00 meter, so provision of land acquition for 300 m x 30 m = 0.90 hectare made in this estimate. (ii) Stream of traffic on Toll Plaza - In reach of Km. 24 to 92 the main junctions are in km. 34, 43, 55, 70, so we provide one toll plaza in km. 26/6 & one on km. 71/6, so no leakage from toll plaza points. (iii) Visibility for approaching traffic - Both location of toll plaza located at straight reach, so approach for traffic safely visible. (iv) Resonably away from road intersection and /or rail crossing :- Both location of Toll Plaza Resonably away from road intersection and /or rail crossin (v) Free from Risk of flooding and submergence :- Both toll plaza free from risk of flodding and submergance. 2- Land for Toll Plaza (10.3) :In km. 26 & 71 the clear ROW is 30.00 meter available and remaning extra land required is 30.00 meter, so provision of land acquition for 300 m x 30 m = 0.90 hectare made in this estimate. 3- Layout and design of Toll Plaza (10.4) :Layout and design of Toll Plaza as per IRC - SP 73 : 2007. 4- Toll Booths (10.5) :The Toll Booths provisions are as per typical detailes of Toll Booth are given in figure 10.2 of IRC - SP 73 : 2007. 5- Road Works (10.6) :The Road works for Rigid Pavements as per IRC : 58. 6- Traffic Signs (10.7) :The Traffic Signs at the Toll Plaza provided as per IRC : 67, as instructed in IRC - SP 73 : 2007 (for Toll Plaza).
7- Road Marking (10.8) :The Road Marking shall be in accordance of with the provision of IRC : 35 . 8- Toll Plaza Complex (10.9) :The size of office complex as per minimum requirement of facilities such as toilet, bathroom, store, rest room, traffic aidpost, medical aidpost etc. 9- Check / Barrier Gate (10.10) :A boom barrier electrically operated placed at the exist of each lane. 10- Lighting (10.11) :At the Toll Plaza complex continuous and reliable electric supply system for efficient functioning, made in the estimate, like interier & exterier lighting, Highmast lighting, lighting for both approaches, canopy lighting, backup arrangemement, highway lighting arround toll plaza.
11- Water Supply (10.12) :Adequate water supply shall be provided for working out water requirement and internal drainage system, made in the estimate. 12- Fighter Fighting System (10.13) :Protection from fire hazarad the adequate fire protection arrangement made in the estimate. 4 Rates

The rates are based on Schedule of Rates of Road & Bridge Work w.e.f 03/11/2014 & Building works SOR w.e.f. 01/08/2014 issued by Engineer In Chief MP PWD Bhopal (MP) and ammended up to date and the rates which are not included in SOR, has been taken from Acutal Market Rate.

Scarifying existing bituminous surface to a depth of 50 mm by mechanical means (Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 50 mm and disposal of scarified material with in all lifts and lead upto 1000 metres.) Clearing and Grubbing Road Land (Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees girth up to 300 mm, removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned up to a lead of 1000 metres including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness. Construction of embankment with approved material having CBR>7 obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meetrequirement of table 300-1, 300-2 and as per relevent clauses of section-300. Providing crushed stone aggregate, depositing on a prepared surface by hauling vehicles, spreading and mixing with a motor grader, watering and compacting with a vibratory roller to clause 410 to form a layer of sub-base/Base in accordance to Table No. 400-14, 400-15 and as per clause of section 407 of specifications. (i) For 53 mm maximum size (34+10)/2 = 22.00 Dry Lean Cement Concrete Sub- base (Construction of dry lean cement concrete Sub- base over a prepared sub-grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS: 383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, aggregate cement ratio not to exceed 15:1, aggregate gradation after blending to be as per table 600-1, cement content not to be less than 150 kg/ cum, optimum moisture content to be determined during trial length construction, concrete strength not to be less than 10 Mpa at 7 days, mixed in a batching plant, transported to site, laid with a paver with electronic sensor, compacting with 8- 10 tonnes vibratory roller, finishing and curing as per clause 601 of specification complete in all respect.

Cement Concrete Pavement (Construction of un-reinforced, dowel jointed, plain cement concrete pavement M-40 grade concrete over a prepared sub base with cement , coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS 383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, mixed in a batching and mixing plant as per approved mix design, transported to site, laid with a fixed form or slip form paver, spread, compacted and finished in a continuous operation including provision of contraction, expansion, construction and longitudinal joints, joint filler, separation membrane, sealant primer, joint sealant, debonding strip, admixtures as approved, curing compound, finishing to lines and grades as per drawing as per IRC 15 2011 and as per relevant clauses of section 602 of specifications complete but excluding cost of steel in dowel bar and tie rods etc.)

((Providing and erecting direction and place identification retroreflectorised sign asper IRC:67 made of high intensity MicroPrismatic Grade Sheeting (Type XI) vide clause 801.3.3 fixed over Aluminium composite material sheet with thermoplastic core of Low density polyethylene (LDPE) between two thick skins/sheets of aluminium with overall thickness of 4mm and aluminium skin of thickness 0.3 on both side, the ACM shall conform to Table 800-1 of specification and High Intensity Micro Prismatck Grade Sheeting shall conform to Table 800-3 of specification.
