ENG 4 Principles and Theories of Language Acquisition and Learning Language, Culture and Society This course examines principles, factors and contexts of language acquisition and learning based on theories and research findings. At the end of the course, the students have: 1. developed in-depth knowledge on the principles and theories of language acquisition and learning through thorough reading and exploration in the history, principles, theories, models, and other studies on language acquisition and learning; 2. illustrated and explained the understanding on language acquisition and learning in a created meaningful concept map; and 3. appreciated the essence of the entire process of language acquisition and learning from the different factors and approaches on the acquisition and learning of language.
