COVER LETTER Respected Sir/ Madam, I am writing this letter to express my interest to apply for the PhD position in chemistry of materials, nanomaterials and processes CNRS, France, 2021. In 2014, I graduated from the University of Sindh, Jamshoro in Pakistan with a four years degree in Chemistry. Through my years of studying, I became fascinated by the research field in Chemistry (nanotechnology) by the way how these techniques are applied to the fabricate nanoparticles and used them development of sensors. For this reason during my last one year of bachelor degree I joined a nanotechnology research group and participated in different research project under this research line. Between the projects I worked in this group, the most significant for me was my bachelor thesis titled “Synthesis of metal nanoparticles and their electrochemical sensor applications" with which I got an excellent mark of 3.68/4.0 and therefore a meritorious qualification. In 2017, I got MPhil (two-year degree program) in the field of Analytical Chemistry from “National centre of excellence in Analytical chemistry, UoS, Jamshoro” and here I am worked under the kind supervision of Prof. Dr Sirajuddin on the research title “Fabrication, characterization and application of metal oxide nanostructures”. During this study, i synthesized metal oxides such as CuO, NiO, Co 3O4 and ZnO nanostructures and applied these for the development electrochemical sensors. In addition, I learnt more about advance techniques such as Automated Gas Sorption analyzer, XRD powdered diffractometer, scanning electron microscopy, UV-visible spectrophotometer, electrochemical workstations and so on. I would like to be selected for this PhD scholarship because I think this scholarship gives me the opportunity to develop and improve in a research field that is part of my professional goals. I think this PhD scholarship offers to me the possibility of receiving a complete training in Nanotechnology utilization in the field of solid state systems as well as the opportunity to work in an interdisciplinary environment, of a highly qualified academic level.  I am aware of the dedication and perseverance that is needed to achieve the best results in this field and I believe that my experience will allow me to get it.
