IMPORTANT NOTES The original instructions. Use in Accordance with Regulations This machine is only intended for cleaning dishes, plates, cups, glasses, cutlery, trays etc. Do not use for electrically heated cooking and heat conservation appliances.

Safety Never hose down the outside of the machine. The "Attention" symbol is shown beside instructions that are essential for the safe operation of the machine. Please read these passages thoroughly. Liability Installations and repairs which are carried out by non authorized technicians or the use of other than original spare parts, and any technical alterations to the machine, may affect the warranty set out in the standard conditions of sale. Only trained adult persons operate the machines.

Important This Instruction manual is written for machines with an operating direction from left to right. For machines with an operating direction from right to left, the same information applies but with opposite handling directions.

Machine noise level: The machine noise level is ≤70 dB (A). Unpacking: Immediately after unpacking, check for possible shipping damage. If the dishwasher is found to be damaged, save the package materials and contact the carrier within 15 days of delivery. Please take out parts of scene installation, manuals and maintenance card. Please fill out necessary information carefully.

2 ASSEMBLY Should be carried out by HOBART technicians.

2.1 TRANSPORT TO INSTALLATION LOCATION - If possible in its packing and on skid. - Push on rollers. - Avoid damage to floor, doors and to the machine. - If a fork lift is used, put a wooden frame under the machine.

2.2 REMOVE PACKING - Cut steel bands. - Remove carton. - Remove wooden skid. - Remove inside packing material and accessories.

2.3 LOCATING - The ground should be non-slid. - Install the exhaust and heat recovery first (if supplied). - According to the installation plan.

- Consider wall clearance according to the installation plan (normally 44 mm). - Consider length of tabling, etc.

2.4 ADJUSTING MACHINE HEIGHT - Level floor unevenness. - Distribute machine weight equally onto all feet.

2.5 ATTACH DISH RACK TABLES AND ACCESSORIES - Insert the dishtable into the tank baffle slot. Secure the table with screw. - Seal the screw holes. - Refer to the installation drawing to review the dishtable connection dimensions for table connection to the dishwasher.

- Allow a slight inclination to the machine (if needed, adjust level by turning the feet). - Pay attention that the rack track level of the machine is the same as the table or roller conveyor level.

2.6 CONNECT THE WASH AND DRY MODULE (IF OPTION) - Take out drying control box , outrigger , outrigger connection, drainage box, deflector and standard construction. - Install drying vertical leg and horizontal leg - Locate the flange of top the two module with M8 bolt , align all mounting holes

- Remove the wash guide dog , connect wash and drying guide, reinstall dog , - Connect the drying and washing module with M6 bolt

3 CONNECTIONS 3.1 ELECTRICAL CONNECTION Must be carried out by an authorized technician according to the national and local codes. A fused disconnects or circuit breaker with electrical leaking protector (not supplied) must be installed in the electrical line supplying the dishwasher and must be less than 30mA from the appliance. It should meet the requirements of your local electrical code. Local power supply fluctuation: Voltage ±10%, Frequency ±1%.

3.1.1 CHECK - Remove lower front panel (unscrew), turn control box to front and take out wiring diagram. - The electrical supply shall comply with the name-plate data and the wiring diagram. - Line fuses and cable cross section shall comply with the requirements. - The brand contains: Company Name, Address, CE logo, Production Date, Product Name, Model,Serise Number and connection detail.

3.1.2 CONNECTION - Refer to the related diagram plan that is on the back of control box. - The appliance is intended for a fixed electrical connection. - Draw cable through cable gland in the side panel. - Connect wires to the built-in terminal. - Tighten all terminal screws (may be loosened during transport). - Tighten the cable gland (supplied by another company). According to EN 60335 the appliance must be connected to an equipotential conductor. The connecting screw ( ) is located beside the cable inlet.

3.1.3 TABEL END SWITCH CONNECTION(Option) Mechanical - Install the table end switch to the operation tabel on site.

- Knob up the connect piece of 32 & 33 in terminal board X17, then connect overload switch (02-785286-001) and terminal 32&33, the connect wiring number is (7159186-001). X17/32(wiring)---32(terminal), X17/33(wiring)---33(terminal); T/21(wiring)---21(overload switch),T/22(wiring)---22(overload switch).

Electronical - Install the table end switch to the operation tabel on site.

- Knob up the connect piece of 32 & 33 in terminal board X17, then connect the photo electric switch(00-691927-001) and the terminals 32&33.

3.1.4 DEPENSER CONNECTION(Supplied by others)

- An interface for the dosing equipment is provided in the control box of the dish washer using terminals which have assigned defined functions. Terminal specification: DPS1 "Fire" (wash pump ON) Signal for dosing detergent DPS2 "Neutral" Signal for dosing detergent RPS1 "Fire" (fill valve open) Signal for dosing rinse aid RPS2 "Neutral" (wash pump ON) Signal for dosing rinse aid - Connect the wiring to the terminal in the control box.

C800 DISHWASHER OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS - Recommended dosing concentration Concentration of detergent and rinse aid depends on soil concentration (pre scrapping), water conditions and wash ware type. Typical recommended concentration levels are as follows: Detergent: 2 – 4 g/l Rinse aid: 0.2 – 0.5 g/l

3.1.5 CONNECTION DYING MODULE -

Install dying control box by the four bolt under the dying Fixed Harness by ties lying the back and top of dying Remove the front panel of electric heating box Ground connection

- Plug the fan wiring harness 1M8

- Connect respectively drying and heater wiring harness 1B9-11/21/31

- Connect the temperature sensor harness 1B5-1/-2

- Reinstall the front panel of the drying and electrically heater box - This wire harness connects to the main control box

- Sequentially check the wires that if they connect correctly and if do than fix with cable ties; the wires should be neatly arranged NOTE: Do not job when you stand the top of wash room: Check all bolts and connections, verify that tightened.

3.2 WATER CONNECTION Must be carried out by an authorized technician according to the national and local codes. The machine must be operated with potable water. For water with an extremely high mineral content an external demineralization is strongly recommended.

3.2.1 GENERAL - Connect water supply and drain pipes according to installation plan. - Class A air gap is fitted to the machine as standard.

3.2.2 WATER SUPPLY CONNECTION (G3/4") -

Should be soft (up to 4° Clark, resp. 0.5 mmol/l,10 - 82°C). Must be cold if condenser is fitted. Line flow pressure 1.5 - 6 bar, at least 350 l/hr. Provide shut-off valve at site.

NOTE:The water hardness should be ≤0.5mmol/L. If not, water softener is strongly recommended. Or else, may affect the warranty set out in the standard conditions of sale.

3.2.3 DRAIN CONNECTION -

To be connected to site drain: Tank drain DN50. Drip water drains off tabling, sink and other elements. All drains must be connected to goose neck (individually or single point).

C800 DISHWASHER OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS 3.3 STEAM CONNECTION(OPTION) Must be carried out by a qualified technician according to the national and local codes. NOTE FOR INSTALLATION Make sure that pressure and temperature of the heating medium do not exceed values indicated on the installation plan.

3.3.1 GENERAL - Connect supply and return pipes according to installationplan. - All connections are equipped with necessary fittings and valves as standard.

3.3.2 INSULATION - All pipes should be insulated. -Insulating material should be water, heat and shock proofed.

- Install the bracket in the operate table or fix it on the floor on site.

3.3.3 ADJUSTMENT OF SHUT-OFF VALVE - with flow reducer for steam and hot water supply - The built-in shut-off valve is equipped with an adjustment device to limit the heating supply medium. A special tool is necessary for adjusting the valve-seat. - The correct adjustment is very important particularly for higher pressure, and therefore must be done by a HOBART trained service technician before first run. - The optimum adjustment is achieved, when the nominal temperature of the boiler can be held during continuous operation, while the valve is opened to maximum. - If adjusted too far open pressure shocks may occur when the

solenoid valve closes. This could cause damage at the installation. - If adjusted too far closed the required heating-power cannot be achieved.

3.4 DISPENSERS FOR DETERGENT AND RINSE AID - Normally dispensers and controls are delivered and installed by the detergent and rinse aid suppliers. - Install dispensers, controls and containers such that they are easy to handle and do not disturb machine operation.

- The detergent interface is installed by the client requirement - Terminals (220v~) are within the control box.(See 3.1.4) - Please refer to circuit diagram.

- Rinse aid connection (A) is provided above the rinse booster heater (R 1/8" inside). - Terminals (220V~) are provided in the control box (see wiring diagram).

Please see separate installation instructions. It is recommended that dispensers and their controls are not fitted directly to the machine! Use only commercial detergent and rinse aid (suitable for professional and industrial operations). Detergent/rinse of manufacturers should comply with all national and local sanitation and health codes at practice. Please pay attention to the manufacturer safety instructions.

4 ADJUST OPERATE DIRECTION (ONLY FOR ELECTRIC HEATING MODELS,TRANSFORM L-R TO R-L AS AN EXAMPLE) Bolts

4.1 SPRAY ARM ASSEMBLY - Remove back panel - Remove the upper and lower spray arm - Remove the screw fixing stand pipe rinse

- Remove spray hose - Remove lock nut and take out stand pipe rinse(do not forget O-ring )

- Remove spray blocking film symmetrical with mounting holes of the stand pipe rinse (not forget O-ring ) - Install stand pipe rinse in reverse order with the position of spray blocking film - Install spray blocking film in opposity position - Connect stand pipe rinse with hose lying in machine base - Install back panel

4.2 ENTRY TOUCH SWITCH - Remove the screw fixing touch switch

- Take out touch switch, install it in symmetrical position

- Remove read switch and install it in symmetrical position

4.3 INSTALL DOG - Remove transport dog - Will it and symmetrical dog rotation 180 and re-install

4.4 WASH ARM - Take out the upper and lower wash arm assy - Remove end cap in wash arm side

- Remove 8 screws of the wash arm back

- Take out end cap and throttle ,re-install warm arm after reversing

4.5 CURTAIN - Remove curtain between washing and rinsing ,and change the position of wash and rinse. - Install curtain between washing and rinsing.

R-L 4.6 Drying Module(Only for drying machine) - Remove the whole of drying module from main washing (End Bolt , Guide rail,Leg connection frame)

- Remove end plate welding and baffle weldment of the tank lying in the left of main wanshing ;

- Open the drying control box, remove wire harness connecting dying fan; - Remove the wire harness of drying electrical heated tube; - Rotate the whole drying module to 180° ,and move to the left of main washing; - Remove outer cover of drying fan ;

- Remove drying fan and heating module;

- Rotate the drying heater module to 180° and reinstall ,and reinstall drying fan ;

- Connect the wire harness of drying fan and electric heating ; - Install outer cover of drying fan ; - Transform the dog of drying module direction according to 4.3

- Install drying module to the left of main washing ( End Bolt , Guide rail, Leg connection frame);

NOTE: The end face between drying and main washing module must seal with the black rubber seal strip.

① Program selector switch (illuminates during operation) By turning the selector switch to Fill position, the machine will be switched on. Automatic tank fill is started. The tank heat and booster heat are energized and controlled automatically. By turning the selector switch to 0 position, the machine (heating and conveyor) will be shut off (e.g. during long term interruption). ② Power light (green) Indicates that the machine is connected to power supply. ③ Conveyor ON button/OK light When the wash tank water level meets the job requirements ,the green light. By pushing this button conveyor and wash operation start. ④ Conveyor OFF button Pushing this button switches the conveyor and wash operation off ("Stand-By" Mode) ⑤ Temperature indicator Wash (°C) Indicates the current temperature of the wash tank. ⑥ Temperature indicator Rinse (°C) Indicates the current temperature of the final rinse water.

6 FIRST RUN Must be carried out by an authorized Service technician to adjust and check machine functions!

6.1 PREPARATION - Program selector switch ① must be set to "0" position. - Remove the lower front panel. - Switch on all circuit breakers and motor protection switches in the control box.

6.2 FILLING THE RINSE BOOSTER HEATER Ensure that the conductor (1B1/1,1B1/2) at the thermostat (1B1) of the rinse booster is disconnected.

- Set the program selector switch ① to "Fill" position. - Wait until water sprays from the rinse arm nozzles. - Open the electrical box after the nozzle spraying water, turn on the shut off valve (if equipped) that under the pressure gauge. Adjust the pressure regulator to 0.8bar, turn off the shutoff valve, and close the electrical box.

- Set the program selector switch ① to "0" position. - Connect the conductor (1B1/1,1B1/2) to the thermostat (1B1) of the rinse booster. - Put the lower front panel in place.

C800 DISHWASHER OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS 6.3 CHECK - Direction of rotation of motors : • Conveyor motor(see the drive plate mark): L-R → Counterclockwise ; R-L→ Clockwise - Pumps(see direction sign) • If motor runs against the indicated direction, interchange 2 of 3 phases at the terminal. • Check and eliminate potential leakages. - Drain • Heating pipework and water supply pipework • Machine housing, bottom of tanks, exhaust system

- Make sure detergent and rinse aid containers are filled. - The adjustment should be done by the chemicals supplier.

7 OPERATION 7.1 PREPARATION

Put the flat strainers in place.

Put the strainer baskets in place.

Set wash arms in place: Put curtains in place (see chapter 8). Upper: set rinse arm in back opening,move from below into guide and click into place. Lower: move rinse arm in guides to end position and click into place.





Set wash arms in place: Upper: set wash arm in side guides, move to end position and drop-in over stop unit. Lower: move wash arm in slide guides to end position and click into place.

Close inspection doors. Ensure sufficient detergent and rinse aid is available in the right containers.



Set program selector switch ① to "Fill" position. The machine starts fill and heating automatically.

Note: Prepare personal protection before operation, respirator, lag, antiskid shose etg.

C800 DISHWASHER OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS 7.2 RACKING(Remove coarse food soil before washing )

when loading plates consider the machine direction

Gastronorm pans and other large containers or boards should ideally be washed in a separate Utensil Washer. In Automatic Rack Type Dishwashers these items may cause problems such as splash-over leading to low water levels in the tank/s and poor rinsing. On the occasions when these items are to be washed, they should be loaded sloping towards the direction of machine operation as shown in the picture. This will reduce the problems described above.

7.3 WASHING - By pushing the Conveyor ON button ③ the machine is ready for operation. Conveyor and wash will start. This should be done after the set water level have been reached. Give dishes enough time to dry after washing.

7.4 STAND-BY OPERATION - When no further racks enter the machine, conveyor and wash can be switched off manually by pushing the Conveyor OFF button ④ . The heaters run continuously. - By pushing the Conveyor ON button ③ conveyor and wash will start again.

7.5 MACHINE-OFF In case of operating error or faults, it is possible to switch-off the machine immediately without draining the tanks. - Turn the program selector switch ① to "0" position.

7.6 LOWER WASH PIPE PRESSURE - Reduce the pressure of lower wash arm when clean light or small dishware. - Open the door, take out the lower wash arm, and turn the knob deasil. - Install the lower wash-pipe, and close the door. Then it works under the less pressure. - It can turn back the normal pressure when turn the knob widdershins. - The cleaning result will be affected during in lower pressure state. Strongly recommended: Separate the light and small dishware from normal.

- Scalding and slipping hazzard. Heat insulating gloves and clothes and non-slip shoes are required.

- Potential electrical hazard.

8 CLEANING THE MACHINE

Drain the machine. When all tanks are completely

Open the inspection doors. Pull drain rods within the tank,Manual drain,Empty the tank.

Take out an clean curtains.

Remove wash arms: Upper: Lift wash arm over stop unit and pull out. Lower: Lift wash arm to pull out.

Remove end caps and clean wash arms accurately.

Remove rinse arms: Upper: pull spring towards front remove rinse arm. Lower: lift rinse arm and pull out. Control nozzle openings and clean if necessary.

Remove strainer baskets.

Remove flat strainers.

Clean the interior of the machine (particularly the bottom of wash and prewash tank) to avoid any waste remaining.

emptied, set the selector switch back to "0" position.

To clean the machine do not use any chloric, acidic or abrasive products and no metallic brushs. Never hose down the exterior of the machine.

C800 DISHWASHER OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS Hose down and brush the strainers – do not knock them to dislodge food soil! They could be damaged. Empty manually the tank, disconnect the main switch, close the faucet. Keep wash room door open and ventilate.

9 POSITION OF CURTAINS The working direction as shown is left/right. On working direction right/left the position of curtains is reversed. CURTAINS

10 FROST PREVENTION Must be carried out by an authorized Service technician! - Drain machine. - Close shut-off valve(s) at site. - Unplug the connecting wire (1B1/1.1B1/2) from the thermostat (1B1). - All tanks, water pipework and armatures must be totally drained. - Remove plug at the bottom of the rinse booster heater. - Drain site water pipework. - Drain traps of drain system.

- Reset for operation according to chapter 4.

11 MAINTENANCE For trouble free operation we recommend an inspection or maintenance contract by qualified Service technicians.

12 TROUBLESHOOTING FAULT Initial booster fill not possible.

Temperatures too low. Wash / Rinse fault. Strainers wrongly positioned. Wash water splashes into rinse section. Rinse nozzles clogged. Incorrect rinse aid dispensing. Too high mineral content of rinse water.

REMEDY Open the shut off valve at site and restart. Call the after sales service. Call the after sales service. Check curtains (see chapter 9). Check heaters, steam or high pressure hot water supply systems. Use non-foaming cleanser Washware places correctly If necessary, call the after sales service. Check strainers. Check curtains (see chapter 9). Clean the wash arms. Increase detergent dispensing. Use non-foaming detergent only. Check pre-scrapping procedure. Check heating system. Call the after sales service. Inadequate rinse aid concentration. Washware places incorrectly Improper drying temperature or humidity Wrong rinse aid or inadequate concentration. Water pressure from below too high. Adjust the lower wash arm pressure If necessary ,call the after sales service. Upper wash arms clogged. Remove wash arms and clean.
