3 Configure basic data

Explain The ZXA10 C600 configuration is used as an example in this article.

3.2 Configure out-of-band network management services The out-of-band network management mode uses the non-service channel to transmit the management information, separates the management channel from the service channel, and provides a more reliable device management path than the in-band network management mode. When ZXA10 C600/C650/C680 fails, it can locate the equipment information on the network in time and monitor it in real time.

Premise Logged in to the appliance via HyperTerminal and entered administrator mode.

Procedure 1.

In [ZXAN #] mode, execute the configure terminal command to enter global configuration mode.

2.

In the [ZXAN (config) #] mode, execute the interface mgmt _ eth command to enter the interface mode and execute the IP address Command to configure the out-of-band management IP address.

Explain The SNMP community name should be consistent with the configuration on the network management system.

5.

In [ZXAN (config) #] mode, execute the snmp-server host vrf mng command to configure the IP address of the network management server.

6.

(Optional) Execute the show IP interface mgmt _ eth command to view the out-of-band management IP addresses.

4 Configure Interconnect Data In order to ensure the normal communication between ZXA10 C600/C650/C680 and the upper network equipment, it is necessary to configure the interconnection data correctly.

Premise The business data has been planned.

Procedure 1.

In [ZXAN (config-if-xgei-1/X/X) #] mode, execute switchport mode to configure the port mode of the uplink port.

2.

Under [ZXAN (config-if-xgei-1/X/X) #], execute the switchport VLAN command to configure the uplink interface VLAN.

3.

In [ZXAN (config-if-vlanid) #] mode, execute the IP address command to configure the in-band management IP address.

4.

In the global configuration mode [ZXAN (config) #], execute the IP route command to configure the inband network management route.

5.

In [ZXAN #] mode, execute the ping X. X. X. X command to the IP address of the gateway or upper device. If the Ping is successful, it indicates that the communication between the ZXA10 C600/C650/C680 and the upper network device is normal; If not, check the upper layer network data and the physical connection between the devices.

5.1 Configure EPON/10G-EPON services EPON/10G-EPON access is an access technology that can provide flexible access capability in broadband and narrowband service environments. It can provide ultra-high bandwidth access and support multiple rate modes. It uses a single optical fiber to provide users with voice, data, video and other services. The service configuration of 10G-EPON and EPON is basically the same, and the difference lies in the ONU type and bandwidth. 10G-EPon can provide users with data bandwidth of up to 10 Gbps. ⚫

EPON service uses EPON ONU, which can provide users with data bandwidth up to 1 Gbps.

The 10G-EPON service uses the 10G-EPON ONU to provide users with data bandwidth of up to 10 Gbps.

5.1.1 Configure EPON ONU Type Template Before authenticating the EPON ONU, if the ONU type does not exist, the ONU type template needs to be created.

Related Information The ZXA10 C600/C650/C680 supports the following default EPON ONU types: ⚫

5 Configuration of basic services

5.2 Configure GPON/10G-Pon services GPON/10G-Pon access can provide flexible access capability in broadband and narrowband service environments, provide ultra-high bandwidth access, support multiple rate modes, and provide users with voice, data, video and other services using a single optical fiber. 10G-Pon includesXG-PONAndXGS-PONIts principle and service configuration are basically the same as those of GPON, but the difference lies in ONU type and bandwidth. ⚫

The GPON service uses the GPON ONU to provide users with data bandwidth of up to 1 Gbps.

10G-Pon service uses 10G-Pon ONU, which can provide users with data bandwidth up to 10 Gbps. XG-PONIt can provide users with up to 10 Gbps of downstream data bandwidth.XGSPONIt can provide users with up to 10 Gbps of uplink and downlink data bandwidth.

Initial configuration of ZXA10 C600/C650/C680 optical access central-office convergence equipment

Related Information The ZXA10 C600/C650/C680 supports the configuration of 512 T-CONT templates. There are five types of upstream bandwidth. ⚫

Fixed Bandwidth

Ensure Bandwidth

Unguaranteed bandwidth

Best effort bandwidth

Maximum Bandwidth

The priorities of fixed bandwidth, guaranteed bandwidth, non-guaranteed bandwidth, best effort bandwidth and maximum bandwidth decrease in order. There are five types of T-CONT bandwidth templates that can contain one or more bandwidth types. ⚫

Fixed Bandwidth (Type 1) Contains only fixed bandwidth. It has a definite bandwidth and time slot, and is suitable for services that are sensitive to delay and jitter, and have a fixed traffic rate or little fluctuation, such as voice services.

Ensure Bandwidth (Type 2) Contains only guaranteed bandwidth. It has a certain bandwidth, but the time slot is uncertain, which is suitable for services with low requirements for delay and jitter and limited traffic rate, such as video on demand services.

Guaranteed and Unguaranteed Bandwidth (Type 3) Including guaranteed bandwidth and non-guaranteed bandwidth. It has the minimum bandwidth guarantee, can dynamically share the remaining bandwidth, and has the maximum bandwidth constraint, which is suitable for services with service guarantee requirements and large burst traffic, such as subscription download services.

Best Effort Bandwidth (Type 4) Only best-effort bandwidth is included. After the allocation of fixed bandwidth, guaranteed bandwidth and non-guaranteed bandwidth, the remaining bandwidth is used competitively, which is suitable for services with low delay and jitter requirements, such as Web browsing services.

All supported (Type 5) It is a combination of the above types, which has the characteristics of each type and is suitable for most business flows. The sum of the fixed bandwidth and the guaranteed bandwidth of a single Pon port cannot exceed 1 Gbps.

Procedure 1. In [ZXAN (config-gpon) #] mode, execute the profile tcont command to configure the T-CONT bandwidth template. -- End of Step -5-22
