5 Good afternoon. Today I would like to consider the best age to give a child a mobile phone. Looking at the graph you can see that in as a result of the increase in mobile phone usage, the majority of students had their first mobile phone before they turned 14. This is in comparison of with/to their parents, who mostly got theirs after the age of twenty! I think in the future the average age of a child receiving their first mobile will go down further. When deciding when to give a child a mobile it is not only their age that should be considered but therefore also their maturity. That What is more, I feel students should be taught how to navigate safely. On In conclusion, I think parents should not feel pressured to give their children mobiles until their children can act responsibly.
