Advantages and disadvantages of shopping in a supermarket

There are some definite benefits of going shopping in a supermarket. First of all, there is a variety of products in a supermarket, which is extremely convenient for customers to buy anything in one place. For example, we can buy foods, drinks, clothes and even other domestic items such as mops or frying-pans. Second, shopping in a supermarket brings a lot of comfort. Costumers do not have to worry about the weather when they shop under the roof. Besides, it is quite cool and clean to do the shopping in a supermarket. Therefore, supermarkets attract larger numbers of people every single week.

However, going shopping in a supermarket also brings some disadvantages . The first disadvantage is that it is rather noisy inside. Too many people shopping, especially in the morning and early evening make the supermarket a really noisy place. Another disadvantage is that it may take a lot of time to shop in the supermarket because we have to queue to check things out. There are usually long lines at the check-out counters in a supermarket, which is quite disappointing for costumers sometimes. As a result, many of us are reluctant to shop in a supermarket.
